Abstract Objective: A questionnaire suggestive of patients’ health status is needed to assess their quality life and improve self-management skills. It a descriptive, cross-sectional multicenter study. The aim this study was the life-satisfaction self-efficacy questionnaires verified in Japan which more related biochemical nutritional markers patients receiving hemodialysis. total 196 outpatients hemodialysis four dialysis centers were included. responses collected. Demographic clinical characteristics obtained including circumstances, addition indices such as normalized protein catabolism rate, creatinine generation rate geriatric risk index. Results: Life-satisfaction scores prognostic rate. Female sex non-diabetic satisfied with undergoing Elderly had higher scores, scores. However, not associated markers. This simple useful patient’s condition.

Symptom networks can provide empirical evidence for the development of personalized and precise symptom management strategies. However, few studies have established symptoms experienced by older patients on maintenance hemodialysis. Our goal was to examine type clusters hemodialysis during dialysis construct a network understand characteristics this population. The modified Dialysis Index used cross-sectional survey. Network analysis analyze node characteristics, factor clusters.A total 167 participants were included in study. The 111 men 56 women with mean age 70.05 ± 7.40. burdens highest scores dry skin, mouth, itching, trouble staying asleep. Five obtained from exploratory analysis, which most severe gastrointestinal discomfort cluster, sleep disorder skin mood cluster. Based centrality markers, it could be seen that feeling nervous asleep had strength, irritable closeness betweenness.Hemodialysis burden multiple clusters. Dry mouth are sentinel model; core patients; bridge model. Clinical staff formulate efficient protocols using synergistic effects based symptoms, symptoms.

ABSTRACT Background Hemodialysis is the most common therapy for managing patients with end-stage renal disease. Depression one of psychological problems faced by dialysis patients, and there limited research on influences religion spirituality patients. Purpose This study was designed to compare spiritual health status between hemodialysis without depressive symptoms. Methods A cross-sectional survey conducted 137 living in Taiwan. The self-report instruments used included Religious Beliefs Scale, Spiritual Health Scale-Short Form, Beck Inventory-II. Data were analyzed using t test, chi-square point-biserial correlation variance, logistic regression. Results Most (63.5%) participants classified depression, which male (70.1%), older (mean = 62.56 years), unemployed (73.6%) had less formal education. Fifty-two depression a 1- 5-year duration hemodialysis, whereas nondepressed group higher mean score number religious activities, positive beliefs, total health. Logistic regression showed an increased odds ratio ( OR ) 1–5 years 3.64, 95% CI [1.01, 13.15]). Participants scores lower risk 0.82, [0.75, 0.90]), indicating association risk. Conclusions/Implications Practice prevalence rate than that general population. Providing screenings as part routine medical care recommended detect distress early.

ObjectiveTo investigate and analyse the quality of life (QoL) patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) undergoing maintenance haemodialysis (MHD), explore influencing factors provide a basis for formulating corresponding intervention measures.MethodsA cross-sectional study was conducted on 120 CKD MHD in hospital between January 2020 June 2020. A general information questionnaire Kidney Disease Quality Life Short Form were used to collect data. The QoL scores calculated compared by t-test analysis variance. Pearson correlation related factors. Stepwise multiple linear regression screen QoL.ResultsThe total score 59.32 ± 11.67, physical component summary, mental summary 50.21 9.32, 48.76 10.81 66.34 12.76, respectively. significantly different age, education level, marital status, employment monthly income, dialysis frequency, duration complications (p < 0.05). positively correlated income negatively blood phosphorus level showed that main 0.05).ConclusionThe is low, it affected We suggest healthcare workers should pay attention health MHD, individualised comprehensive nursing interventions improve their QoL.

Financial hardship is a common challenge among patients with kidney failure and may have negative health consequences. Therefore, financial status regarded as an important determinant of health, its impact needs to be investigated. This cross-sectional study aimed identify the differences in patient-reported clinical outcomes different status. A total 354 were recruited from March June 2017 at two hospitals Hong Kong. The Dialysis Symptoms Index Kidney Disease Quality Life-36 used evaluate outcomes. Clinical retrieved medical records assessed using Karnofsky Performance Scale (functional status) Charlson Comorbidity (comorbidity level). Patients stratified dichotomised variables, employment income level, their compared independent sample t-tests Mann-Whitney U-tests. In this sample, rate was 17.8% poverty 61.2%. Compared other patients, increased distress specific symptoms higher healthcare utilization, terms more emergency room visits longer hospital stays, found poorer Low-income reported decreased mental quality life. Financially underprivileged experienced inequity impaired Attention paid these by providing assessments interventions. Additional research warranted confirm findings understand experience equity.

Abstract Childhood head injuries and conduct problems increase the risk of aggression criminality are well-known correlates. However, direction timing their association role demographic factors remain unclear. This study investigates bidirectional links between both from 3 to 17 years while revealing common unique risks. A total 8,603 participants (50.2% female; 83% White ethnicity) Millennium Cohort Study were analysed at 6 timepoints age 17. Conduct parent-reported for ages using Strengths Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) 14. cross-lagged path model estimated longitudinal effects two whilst salient risks modelled cumulatively three ecological levels (child, mother, household). 5 promoted 7 ( Z = 0.07; SE 0.03; 95% CI, 0.02–0.13), 11 14 ß .0.06; .0.03; 0.01–0.12). Head associated with direct child-level 3, whereas all until years. The findings suggest a sensitive period 5–11 relationship shared problems.
