Sustainable development of the global economy can be achieved with help renewable energy (RE). The paper investigates determinants RE in order to boost its adoption. deployment were analyzed using random-effects GLS regression for panel data from 27 EU member states 2011–2020.The results confirm that economic and high employment advanced technology manufacturing are drivers sector, whereas unemployment growth affects negatively. Our show active political participation freedom promote RE; however, level corruption democracy does not have a statistically significant impact on it. Favorable geographical location was proved determinant development. hypothesis plenty natural resources discourage countries develop disproved. major policy implications promotion include importance deregulation, open market educational transformations. Following results, prospects further research outlined.

This study contributes to the environmental and socioeconomic sustainability literature by examining three important issues. First, examines effects of foreign direct investment (FDI) economic freedom on inclusive green growth (IGG) in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Second, we investigate whether interacts with FDI promote IGG. Third, identify minimum threshold required for cause foster The findings are based macro data 20 SSA countries. Evidence, instrumental variable regression, shows that, unconditionally, is not statistically significant promoting finds that SSA's 'Mostly unfree' architecture conditions reduce results from our regression reveal IGG 66.2% (Moderately free). sheds new light investments necessary form relevant synergies

This study examines the impact of investment freedom, technological innovation, renewable energy, and economic growth on load capacity factor (LCF) within context Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 7 13 for a group high freedom countries (Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Chile, Singapore, New Zealand, States America, Belgium, Finland, Uruguay, Latvia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland). Furthermore, this research assesses impacts achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. The data set covers years between 1995 2019. Moreover, validity curve (LCC) hypothesis is analyzed in all countries. Long-run coefficients are estimated using Regularized Common Correlated Effects (rCCE) estimator, robustness analysis performed (CCE) estimators. overall assessment panel reveals that LCC invalid selected nations, with exception Belgium. Other findings indicate reduces LCF Zealand. However, increases LCF, improving environmental quality Latvia. Technological innovation decreases Singapore it Germany. Renewable energy UK Spain. Finally, policy implications discussed.

Abstract This research delves into whether access to natural resources is a blessing or curse, matter of contention within contemporary literature. Lacking conclusive evidence, particularly the G‐20 countries, this study endeavors establish intricate linkages between economic development, resources, and complexity. A subset economies from 1990 2021 was used analyze results second‐generation CS‐ARDL model. After accounting for variables like corruption, total labor force, gross capital formation, trade openness, inflow foreign direct investment, we find that complexity, corruption formation are significant adverse predictors growth. Natural resource dependence susceptible price fluctuations sustainability concerns, complexity may introduce market volatility challenges, erodes trust transparency, excessive can lead imbalances. On other hand, growth positively impacted by additional effects control variables, including openness force. In crafting its policy recommendations, artfully weaves tapestry resonates with core principles Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These strategic imperatives include adept stewardship cultivation diversity, seamless facilitation trade, fortification against harmonious symphony underscores financial stability nurturing human capital, ultimately painting vivid portrait sustainable

This review paper aims to critically analyze sustainable information technology (IT) practices in the Nigerian banking sector, focusing on environmental perspectives. The primary objective is identify and evaluate extent which banks have integrated IT impact of these sustainability. methodology involves a comprehensive existing literature, including academic journals, industry reports, case studies, gather insights into current state banking. Key findings reveal that while some begun adopt green initiatives, such as paperless operations, energy-efficient data centers, electronic services, overall adoption rate relatively low compared global standards. study identifies barriers adoption, lack awareness, limited regulatory frameworks, inadequate infrastructure. Despite challenges, highlights potential benefits practices, reduced carbon footprint, operational cost savings, enhanced corporate reputation. concludes for fully embrace there needs be concerted effort involving policy formulation, awareness campaigns, investment technologies. It recommends stakeholders, government, bodies, themselves, collaborate create an enabling environment IT. contributes understanding sector provides foundation future research development this area.

This study examines the impact of digital economy, technological innovation, financial accessibility, and urbanization on CO2 emissions in G-7 region from 1990 to 2019. The analysis employed Cross-Sectional Dependence (CSD) Slope Homogeneity tests, revealing presence CSD issues heterogeneous slope coefficients. First- second-generation panel unit root tests indicated no problem within dataset, with variables showing mixed integration orders. Panel cointegration confirmed that are cointegrated over long run. To assess short-run long-run impacts explanatory emissions, utilized Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. findings indicate economy significantly reduces while economic growth, increase region. robustness ARDL results was validated using Driscoll-Kraay standard errors, Augmented Mean Group (AMG), Common Correlated Effects (CCEMG) estimations. Additionally, Dumitrescu-Hurlin causality test revealed a unidirectional causal relationship between GDP innovation. Furthermore, bidirectional found accessibility as well emissions. These provide comprehensive insights into dynamic interactions economic, technological, environmental region, highlighting complexity achieving sustainable development.

One of the most frequently used terms in climate change discussions is environmental sustainability. With economic growth and foreign direct investment as moderator factors, this study investigates influence green finance financial development on sustainability ASEAN economies from 2012 to 2019. ADF Phillip-Peron (PP) unit root tests, fully modified least square (FMOLS), were employed for long-run empirical estimates. A substantial body evidence supports study's findings using VECM technology. Green financing was negatively associated with CO2 emissions. However, favorably financing. It also worth noting that promotes at expenditure growth. Financial development, investment, R&D technology foster expansion price There are still many fences need be addressed, including pricing emissions reforming inefficient nonrenewable fossil fuel subsidies. Local governments play a vital role eliminating these barriers addressing disincentives. recommended policymakers push sector adopt strategy further goals long-term sustainable development.
