However, there are concerns about employees’ acceptance of and the literature on employee is still in its infancy. To address this research gap, integrating justice theory, we investigate effects deciding entity (human, human AI, AI) impact data source (internal data, external data), reactions. Using a scenario-based between-subject design, displaying common situation organizations ( N = 280) an additional causal-chain-approach 157), examined whether decrease involvement decision making diminishes perceived fairness satisfaction with process increases their privacy intrusion. Although also considered other sources moderate proposed relationships, found no support interaction effects. Finally, intrusion mediated influence turnover intention employer attractiveness, while did not. By addressing how employees react development–showing negative reactions, our study holds considerable relevance practice.

Building compensatory control theory algorithm aversion concept, evaluates whether disclosing a high input share (without explicit control) over (with lower share) mitigate consumer reactions. Moreover, paper investigates moderating role consumers’ perceived morality companies’ Results from experiments in different contexts reveal that alleviate responses, but only indicates AI. Furthermore, effects depend moral acceptance company's without lead more responses case low (and no morality), whereas messages were not differently irrespective level.
