In oncology, the poor success rate of clinical trials is becoming increasingly evident due to weak predictability preclinical assays, which either do not recapitulate complexity human tissues (i.e., in vitro tests) or reveal species-specific outcomes animal testing). Colorectal cancer (CRC) liver metastasis accounts for the majority of fatalities associated with CRC. Early detection is crucial improving patient outcomes but can be delayed due to a lack symptoms. In this research, we aimed investigate CRC metastasis-related biomarkers by employing machine learning (ML) approach and experimental validation. The gene expression profile patients was obtained using GSE41568 dataset, differentially expressed genes between primary metastatic samples were screened.
