Owing to their great quantity of hydrolyzable anthocyanins and tannins, the peel seeds pomegranate are edible possess potent anti-oxidant anti-inflammatory characteristics. This work aims trace seed ethanolic extracts' anticancer activity against liver cancer cell line, namely HepG2 related histopathological, immunohistochemical, genetic oxidative stress profile.In vitro study for both extract showed prevalence phenols, polyphenols acids, those have anti-proliferative potential line (HepG2) with 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50) significantly reduced that peel. Toxicity test extracts was dependent accompanied cycle arrest death at theG0/G1 S phases but not G2/M phase. Cell supplemented raised ROS, MDA decreased SOD, GSH Catalase.Apoptosis-related genes significant up-expression pro-apoptotic gene (P53), Cy-C, Bax, casp-3 down expression anti-apoptotic (Bcl-2). Also, Casp-3 P53 proteins were substantially expressed under effect extracts. Histopathological demonstrated untreated cells (control group) regular nuclear pleomorphism hyperchromatic nuclei, while extracts-treated necrosis, mixed euchromatin heterochromatin, intra-nuclear eosinophilic structures, burst membranes, shrunken apoptotic membranes irregular cells. Finally, PCNA detected by immunohistochemistry regulated treatment than in case medication extract.

Obesity has increasingly become a worldwide epidemic, as demonstrated by epidemiological and clinical studies. may lead to the development of broad spectrum cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), such coronary heart disease, hypertension, failure, cerebrovascular atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, sudden cardiac death. In addition there are other cardiometabolic risk factors (CRFs) visceral adiposity, dyslipidemia, insulin resistance, diabetes, elevated levels fibrinogen C-reactive protein, others, all which increase CVD events. The mechanisms involved between obesity mainly include oxidative stress, inflammation, adipokine dysregulation, cause maladaptive structural functional alterations heart, particularly left-ventricular remodeling diastolic dysfunction. Natural products plants provide diversity nutrients different bioactive compounds, including phenolics, flavonoids, terpenoids, carotenoids, anthocyanins, vitamins, minerals, fibers, possess wide range biological activities antihypertensive, antilipidemic, antidiabetic, activities, thus conferring benefits. this review, we discuss main therapeutic interventions using extracts from herbs in preclinical trials with protective properties targeting CRFs. Molecular targets herb plant for prevention treatment CRFs also reviewed.

Pomegranate (PMG; Punica granatum L.) fruits possess a well-balanced nutrient/phytochemical composition, with proven adjuvant benefits in experimental cancer chemotherapy; however, such bioactivity could be affected by PMG’s phenogenotype (varietal). Here, the chemical and phytochemical (UPLC-DAD-MS2) antioxidant capacity anticancer potential [in vitro (MTT assay) silico (foodinformatics)] of three PMG different aryl color [red (cv. Wonderful), pink Molar de Elche), white Indian)] were evaluated. The macro/micronutrient (ascorbic acid, tocols, carotenoids), organic acid (citric/malic), polyphenol content changed varietal total activity (ABTS, alcoholic > hexane extract) order red white. However, their cytotoxicity was same (IC50 200 μg.mL−1) against normal (retinal) (breast, lung, colorectal) cell lines. Sixteen major phytochemicals tentatively identified, four them high GI absorption/bioavailability score [Ellagic (pink), vanillic (red), gallic (white) acids, D-(+)-catechin (white)] multiple molecular targets (52) (32) (23)] associated (at initiation promotion stages) activity. fruit is phenogenotype-specific, although it more effective nutraceutical formulations (concentrates).

The aim of this review is to provide a summary the botany, phytochemistry and dermatological effects Punica granatum (PG), with special emphasis on therapeutic mechanisms in various skin conditions. Pomegranate seeds (PS) are the dried derived from pomegranate fruit, accounting for approximately 20% of fruit’s total weight, and a by-product juice extraction. These hold significance in traditional medicine among Uyghurs Tibetan cultures, featuring diverse clinical applications within Chinese medicine. include management gastric coldness acidity, abdominal distension, liver gallbladder fever, pediatric enteritis. PS demonstrates properties such as stomach tonicity, qi regulation, analgesia, anti-inflammatory effects. Extensive research underscores richness various phytochemical compounds metabolites, notably unsaturated fatty acids (particularly linolenic acid linoleic acid), phenolic tocopherols, proteins, volatile oils. Notably, these bioactive compounds, punicic (PA), found PS, potential prevention treatment cancers, diabetes, obesity, other ailments. Despite extensive literature on botanical entity, comprehensive review focusing specifically chemical composition pharmacological effects remains elusive.
