This paper deals with the optimal tuning of controller for real automatic voltage regulation (AVR) system synchronous generator (SG). For this purpose, firstly, a novel proportional-integral two degrees freedom and anti-windup protection application in AVR is proposed. Secondly, order to determine parameters such controller, objective function which takes into account transient response characteristics, disturbance, measurement noise rejection capabilities presented. Furthermore, adaptive modification existing metaheuristic African vultures optimization algorithm (AVOA) introduced design. Finally, unlike many papers available literature use simplified model system, work simulation realized by observing technical documentation excitation 40 MVA SG from hydropower plant Perucica Montenegro. The results obtained have proven that proposed has superior performances compared other frequently used controllers power plants, terms providing quality terminal voltage, disturbance rejection, mitigation abilities. As result, are very important targets for cyberattacks to cripple organizations by using methods, such as false data injection (FDI) and denial service (DoS) on sensors measurement data. This article introduces new robust Kalman filter (KF) AGV state estimation Huber loss function. Automatic voltage regulators (AVRs) are essential components in electrical systems to maintain stable output, ensuring optimal performance and equipment protection. The effectiveness of AVRs rely on key parameters such as regulation, response time, stability, efficiency. Integrating controllers with offers centralized monitoring enhancing output This study therefore first discusses various controller types which showcase distinctive capabilities based their tuning strategies then introduces an intelligent optimization approach using fractional-order proportional-integral-derivative double derivative (FOPIDD2) tailored for AVRs. adopts the artificial rabbits (ARO) algorithm, fortified adaptive local search (ALS) mechanism experience-based perturbed learning (EPL) strategy. modified version (m-ARO) enhances solution diversity navigational efficacy, resulting improved quality. study's core objective is demonstrate superior m-ARO-based FOPIDD2 addressing multifaceted challenges AVR control, outperforming conventional techniques speed response, robustness, To validate method's a comparative analysis conducted existing different algorithms. Results indicate that proposed achieves metrics, demonstrating its capability. also includes wider perspective by considering nineteen controllers, reported literature, comprehensive comparison. The energy management (EM) solution of the multi-microgrids (MMGs) is a crucial task to provide more flexibility, reliability, and economic benefits. However, MMGs became complex strenuous with high penetration renewable resources due stochastic nature these along load fluctuations. In this regard, paper aims solve EM problem optimal inclusion photovoltaic (PV) systems, wind turbines (WTs), biomass systems. proposed an enhanced Jellyfish Search Optimizer (EJSO) for solving 85-bus MMGS system minimize total cost, performance improvement concurrently. algorithm based on Weibull Flight Motion (WFM) Fitness Distance Balance (FDB) mechanisms tackle stagnation conventional JSO technique. EJSO tested standard CEC 2019 benchmark functions obtained results are compared optimization techniques. As per results, powerful method other like Sand Cat Swarm Optimization (SCSO), Dandelion (DO), Grey Wolf (GWO), Whale Algorithm (WOA), (JSO). reveal that by suggested can reduce cost 44.75% while voltage profile stability 40.8% 10.56%, respectively.

Abstract The primary objective of a power system is to provide safe and reliable electrical energy consumers. A critical component in automatic regulator (AVR) synchronous generators. In paper, novel control method, sigmoid-based fractional-order PID (SFOPID), introduced with aim improving dynamic response robustness AVR system. dandelion optimizer (DO), successful optimization algorithm, used optimize parameters proposed SFOPID strategy. process for DO-SFOPID strategy includes variety functions, including error-based metrics such as integral absolute error, squared time addition user-defined Zwee Lee Gaing’s metric. effectiveness technique has been rigorously investigated through series tests analyses, aspects domain, robustness, frequency evaluation nonlinearity effects. simulation results are compared between (FOPID) (SPID) techniques, both which have tuned using different metaheuristic algorithms gained significant recognition recent years. As result comparative superiority confirmed it shows an improved performance respect other techniques. Furthermore, validated within experimental setup show highly terms robustness. summary, provides comprehensive evidence supporting results.

The Snow Goose Algorithm (SGA) is a new meta-heuristic algorithm proposed in 2024, which has been proved to have good optimization effect, but there are still problems that easy fall into local optimal and premature convergence.
