The world population’s significant increase has promoted a higher consumption of poultry products, which must meet the specified demand while maintaining their quality and safety. It is well known that conventional antimicrobials (antibiotics) have been used in livestock production, including poultry, as preventive measure against or for treatment infectious bacterial diseases. Unfortunately, use misuse these compounds led to development dissemination antimicrobial drug resistance, currently serious public health concern. Multidrug-resistant bacteria are on rise, being responsible infections humans animals; hence, goal this review discuss consequences resistance focusing current status agroeconomic sector. Abstract Most nutraceuticals have low stability and solubility, making it difficult to achieve ideal bioavailability by directly incorporating into food. Therefore, constructing delivery systems protect is an essential strategy. Proteins polysaccharides become materials for encapsulating due their superior nutritional value, edible safety, physicochemical properties. This review first introduces the binding methods of protein–polysaccharide complexes analyzes respective merits, defects, applications. Then, various complex‐based nutraceutical are systematically summarized, including emulsions, gels, nanoparticles, microcapsules, complexes, films, which can improve stability, encapsulation efficiency, bioaccessibility nutraceuticals. In addition traditional globular proteins mentioned in previous reviews, this also advantages another morphology (protein fibrils with linear structure) formation construction systems. Polygonatum sibiricum polysaccharide (PSP) has demonstrated diverse medicinal properties, extensively researched for human applications. Nonetheless, there is a lack of studies investigating the potential advantages PSP in poultry farming. The present study investigated impact incorporating into broiler diets on their growth performance, meat quality, blood metabolites, antioxidative status, and ileal histomorphology.
