The potential health risks posed by the coexistence of nanoplastics (NPs) and triclosan (TCS) have garnered significant attention. However, effects underlying mechanisms NPs TCS on key functional proteins at molecular level remain poorly understood. Triclosan (TCS) is an anti-microbial widely used in personal care and medical antibacterial products. Despite the widespread occurrence of TCS municipal sewage sludge, understanding toward fate within treatment environmental risks eventual land application still limited. Hematological parameters and changes in stress-induced functionalities of cellular enzymes have been recognized as valuable tools for monitoring fish health determining the toxic effects pesticides. The present study was conducted to evaluate effect selected pesticides viz., Ekalux (EC-25%), Impala (EC-55%), Neemstar (EC-15%) on freshwater catfish Mystus keletius. Fish were exposed sub-lethal concentrations (mg/L) pesticide a period 7, 14, 21, 28 days. total erythrocyte (RBC), hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit (Ht) packed cell volume values decreased with an increase exposure time pesticides, whereas leucocytes (WBC), mean corpuscular concentration (MCHC), (MCV), (MCH) increased significantly. A decrease (PCV) coupled deformed erythrocytes signs anemia also observed. Triclosan (TCS), a common antibacterial agent found in numerous personal care products, has been detected wastewater and surface water is now of significant environmental concern due to its health impacts. To mitigate this issue, various treatment methods have explored. This study investigated the efficacy Macadamia nut shell activated carbon (MAC) as an economical adsorbent for triclosan removal. A pulsed-bed column adsorption technique was applied enhance capacity prolong operational lifespan column. Batch experiments were conducted explore parameters capacity. Column carried out investigate breakthrough curves associated parameters. In batch experiments, MAC exhibited high TCS 119.05 mg/g, optimal conditions determined.
