Abstract Eleutherococcus senticosus essential oil (ESEO) has the function of clearing heat and detoxifying, delaying aging. The ESEO yield obtained by traditional extraction methods is low because oils are encased in plant cell structures difficult to extract. In this study, we adopted method glucose oxidase promoting cellulase assisted hydrogenation distillation(GCAHD), utilized interaction promote full destruction cellulose cells, resulting a large amount internal flowing out improving ESEO. By optimizing main factors enzymatic hydrolysis, optimal conditions for E. were determined through BBD experiments. ratio 1:20, concentration enzyme 1.02%, temperature hydrolysis 40.0 ℃, pH value 3.44. was 0.14%. extracted from increased 49.9% compared single method. process used work milder, more environmentally friendly, efficient, which important reference industrial utilization medicinal plants.

Stilbenes are a group of plant phenolic secondary metabolites, with trans-resveratrol (3,5,4'-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene) being recognized as the most prominent and studied member. have great potential for use in agriculture medicine, they significant activities against pathogens valuable beneficial effects on human health. In this study, we analyzed direct application stilbenes, stilbene precursor, stilbene-rich extract solutions to foliar surface increasing resistance Arabidopsis thaliana various abiotic stresses (heat, cold, drought, soil salinity). Exogenous treatment A. stilbenes (trans-resveratrol, piceid, spruce bark extract) precursor (p-coumaric acid or CA) during germination resulted considerable growth retardation plants: strong delay root stem length 1-week-old seedlings (in 1.3-4.5 fold) rosette diameter 1-month-old plants 1.2-1.8 fold), while 2-month-old treated were not significantly different size from control. This study investigated the effects of 2,4-epibrassinolide (EBR) residues on Dendrobium officinale quality. The decreased from 0.164 to 0.238 mg/kg (2 h) 0.014–0.071 (35 d) in stems with 0.02–0.05 mg/L EBR applications. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by gradual decline in cognitive function. Currently, there are no effective treatments for this condition. Medicine food homology plants have gained increasing attention as potential natural AD because of their nutritional value and therapeutic benefits. In work, we aimed to provide deeper understanding how medicine may help alleviate or potentially treat identifying key targets, pathways, small molecule compounds from 10 that play an important role process. Using network pharmacology, identified 623 common targets between the selected plants, including crucial proteins such STAT3, IL6, TNF, IL1B. Additionally, molecules were grouped into four clusters using hierarchical clustering. The ConPlex algorithm was then applied predict binding capabilities these protein targets. Cluster 3 showed superior predicted IL1B, which further validated molecular docking. Scaffold analysis revealed those with steroid-like core-comprising three fused six-membered rings one five-membered ring carbon-carbon double bond-exhibited better affinities triple-target inhibitors. Among them, MOL005439, MOL000953, MOL005438 top-performing compounds. This study highlights source active could be developed new drugs treatment.
