<p><strong>The COVID-19 pandemic caused unprecedent changes in the modern world, resulting severe mobility restrictions to contain virus’s transmission. The New Zealand Government responded spread of with swift and stringent countermeasures, instantiating rigorous border as country’s first line defence. These measures had profound impacts on lives both migrants locals, yet specific repercussions for have received limited research attention. This explored experiences residing Aotearoa during COVID-19. Employing qualitative methodology informed by Braun Clarke’s (2013) Thematic Analytic framework, I interviewed ten about their experiences. Analysis these semi-structured interviews identified three themes. Theme 1 described feelings helplessness uncertainty brought place its spread, organised into four subthemes: 1) What if’s – a consequence impact, 2) “There’s nothing can do”, 3) Worrying families overseas 4) Not getting desired help. 2 highlighted perceived group division that distinguished from general population. theme was divided Immigration status, Migrants bond other Discrimination xenophobia. The study aimed at gaining understanding of the mental health and resilience employees' hotels used as quarantine facilities during COVID-19 pandemic. Data was collected from 240 hotel employees. Descriptive statistics, correlation chi-square were to explore variables study. There relatively low levels among employees with an overwhelming prevalence symptoms induced depression, anxiety stress correlated positively each other. Implications results for healthcare services in hospitality industry are discussed.

Background: More than two years into the global, coronavirus disease (COVID-19) constantly changes through mutation.Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 lineages are new, dominating that will develop in near future.Macao, a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China, is first region to have wave without previous, COVID-19 outbreak.Since emergence Omicron community, Macao SAR government implemented precise control strategy controlled outbreak within 6 weeks.The aim this article was introduce new against showed its effectiveness.Methods: We analyzed data, during 18 Jun 2 Aug 2022, summarized our experience implementing for outbreak.Results: This lasted weeks.In total, 1821 cases were diagnosed, which 1177 (64.6%) detected because contact tracing; 784 (43.0%) from restricted period; 664 (36.5%) related target population 8 different occupations.Comparing with proportion case finding increased progressively period time.Conclusion: Our policy successfully contained outbreak.Our could provide reference other regions.

This study aimed to promote an in-depth understanding of lived experiences Omani adults who were quarantined with COVID-19. Giorgi's descriptive phenomenological qualitative method was used collect and analyze data from twelve eligible participants, selected through purposive snowball sampling. Data collected participants using interrogatory statements during semi-structured audio-recording individualized phone interviews. Five general structural descriptions (GSDs) reflected the essence had been diagnosed COVID-19 experienced home quarantine. The GSDs their represented five phases: (1) before catching infection ("No way I will get infected"), (2) between quarantine ("I may be (3) early in ("Oh my God, am (4) middle end ("So what?
