Household energy consumption (HEC) significantly impacts global greenhouse gas emissions and can trigger fuel poverty among vulnerable households. Due to environmental policies geopolitical turmoil limiting the supply, HEC needs be curbed. This urges identification of most energy-dependent consumers at different locations particular life circumstances that such a high level dependency. A gender perspective provide insights into Applying geographically weighted regression model on HEC, including explanatory parameters composition, age, ethnicity, income, home ownership, microclimate, urban morphology land cover, results show significant variations in groups 87% Dutch residential zones. Purpose The work-from-home scheme (WFH) is increasingly being adopted in service firms. However, the blurred border between employees’ work and life can create work–life conflict (WLC) that negatively affects their well-being. Therefore, identifying factors help employees overcome WLC nurture well-being imperative. From a transformative research (TSR) personal psychology perspective, this study aims to explore roles of employee state mindfulness resilience reducing WLC, alleviating its negative effects ultimately nurturing happiness. Design/methodology/approach A structural model was proposed. Data were collected from 339 WFH various knowledge-based services such as professional services, information, education training, financial consulting marketing. Direct, indirect, mediating moderating estimated using CB-SEM method. Findings Mindfulness overarching capability helps reduce raise resilience. It nurtures happiness not only directly but also via mediation WLC. Attachment Anxiety and Nomophobia: A Moderated Parallel Mediation Model DOI

Nomophobia is the state of being anxious or disturbed when feeling disconnected from digital world and can have a significant impact on individuals’ health well-being. Drawing upon attachment theory previous literature nomophobia, this study aims to understand how anxiety influences nomophobia whether relationship differs between males females. In Human Penguin Project (HPP) (N = 1221; 12 countries; participants aged ≥20 years), Experiences in Close Relationships Questionnaire-Revised (ECR-R), Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20), Perceived Stress (PSS), Questionnaire (NMP-Q) were used assess anxiety, alexithymia, perceived stress, respectively. The results demonstrated that (1) there positive correlations stress. Additionally, (2) was direct effect alexithymia stress partially mediated relationship. Finally, (3) gender significantly moderated nomophobia. Specifically, predicted both females, but stronger males.

Background Flexible work arrangements have become increasingly popular, driven by the widespread adoption of digital technologies in workplace because pandemic. However, there is a scarcity studies concerning remote work, especially related to technical-administrative staff (TAS) academia. Therefore, current study, adopting Job Demands-Resources model, aimed investigate relationships between working self-efficacy, organizational support, techno-complexity, mental well-being, and job performance among TAS during working. Methods A total 373 individuals from large Italian university participated this study completing self-report questionnaire. Results The findings showed positive significant self-efficacy satisfaction as well such perceived efficacy well-being.
