Bamboo is a typical natural fiber-reinforced composite with excellent mechanical properties, which are determined by its special micro-structure. As the reinforcing phase, vascular bundles play central role in control of properties bamboo macro-structure. To find exact gradient variation these continuously distributed within culm, 4-year-old Moso was chosen to investigate locate-distribution, cross-section area, and single along longitudinal radial directions respect their location from base, middle, top sections respectively. To develop an effective and eco-friendly method for extracting bamboo sap can effectively improve the utilization of resources promote sustainable development industry. The physicochemical properties systematically investigated. results indicated that HP offers significant advantages in terms extraction efficiency mechanical bamboo. extracted through exhibited guaiacol concentration comparable to obtained via traditional baking method, while levels total flavonoids, amino acids, phenols notably higher. density distribution hot-pressed was uniform with bending strength 263 MPa modulus elasticity 14.04 GPa, reflecting enhancements 45.30% 65.17%, respectively.
