Abstract
Psoriasis
is
a
common
immune‐mediated
inflammatory
skin
disease,
caused
by
disturbed
interactions
between
keratinocytes
and
immune
cells.

medicine

from
licorice

Nonalcoholic
fatty
liver
disease
(NAFLD)
has
become
a
global
pandemic,
imposing
significant
socioeconomic
burden.
Hepatic
steatosis
is
key
pathological
event
in
NAFLD.
However,
there
still
lack
of
effective
drugs
for
NAFLD
treatment.
Liquiritin
(LIQ),
derived
from
licorice
root,
exhibits
antioxidative
and
anti‐inflammatory
properties,
making
it
valuable
managing
various
conditions
such
as
dermatological
disorders,
respiratory
ailments,
gastritis.

the

mechanisms

on
hepatic
mouse
primary
hepatocytes
(MPHs).

palmitic
acid
