Marchin-13 Tang is a traditional Mongolian medicine widely used to reduce blood pressure. The study aimed evaluate the anti-hypertensive effect of (M-13) in L-NAME-induced model hypertension. biological composition activity M-13 was examined using UV spectrophotometric method. experimental groups induced Hypertension models by L-NAME 40 mg/kg. concentrations serum nitric oxide (NO), Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE), superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), and catalase (CAT) were measured treatment enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). content total phenolics at 2.96±0.16%, while flavonoids found be present level 1.81±0.1%. reductions mean arterial pressure (MAP) statistically significant. They observed from day 14 21 after giving 90 mg/kg 180 (p<0.01). Moreover, treated with groups, levels NO, SOD, CAT significantly (p<0.01) increased compared (40 mg/kg) group. MDA ACE showed significant decrease both Tang-treated group (p<0.05). results our illustrate that effectively reduced mitigating oxidative stress, enhancing NO production, decreasing hypertensive rats L-NAME.

The extraction of bioactive compounds from wine lees involves a variety methods, the selection which is crucial to ensure optimal yields. This systematic review, following PRISMA guidelines and utilizing Web Science database, aimed examine current state this field, providing insights for future investigations. search employed strategies with truncation techniques Boolean operators, followed by three-step screening using well-defined eligibility criteria. A bibliometric analysis was conducted identify authors, affiliations, countries/regions, research trends. Thirty references were selected analysis, Spain standing out as main source on topic. majority studies (66%) focused alcoholic fermentation lees, while 33% directed towards malolactic lees. Binary mixtures (ethanol-water) predominant solvents, ultrasound being most used method (31.3%), highest average yields (288.6%) various evaluated compounds, especially flavonoids. potential highlighted, along need further exploring alternative technologies combination methods. Additionally, importance "in vitro" vivo" tests assess well use computational tools optimize molecules responsible activity, emphasized.

Non-communicable chronic diseases (NCDs) are the most widespread cause of mortality worldwide. Intestinal microbiota balance can be altered by changes in abundance and/or diversity intestinal microbiota, indicating a role NCD development. This review discusses findings vitro studies, pre-clinical studies and clinical trials on effects Brazilian native fruits, their by-products, as well bioactive compounds human NCD. The major fruits impacts administration outcomes linked to modulation discussed. Mechanisms affecting could absorption energy balance, immune endocrine systems, inflammatory response. such acerola, açaí, baru, buriti, guava, jabuticaba, juçara, passion fruit, have several compounds, soluble insoluble fibers, variety phenolic which capable changing these key mechanisms. by-products help promote positive systemic health benefits driving alterations composition increasing production distinct short-chain fatty acids metabolites, thereby enhancing integrity homeostasis. Evidence from available literature shows that modulatory metabolic activity improve repercussions associated with NCD, reinforcing influence extra-intestinal outcomes.
