Implementing Character Education in Madrasah

This
study
investigated
the
application
model
of
character
education
in
Islamic
Religious
Education
learning
and
spiritual
extracurricular
activities
Madrasah
Aliyah
Negeri
3
Palembang.
Data
were
collected
using
participatory
observation,
in-depth
interviews,
documentation.
analysis
was
carried
out
through
data
reduction,
presentation,
conclusions.
The
results
show
that
implementation
is
a
collaboration
between
integration
supplement.
Character
collaborated
activities.
These
two
produce
knowledge,
attitudes,
moral
actions
on
part
students.
success
can
be
seen
from
behavior
students
who
have
religious
behavior,
honest,
disciplined,
responsible,
caring,
polite,
cooperative,
creative,
hard-working,
curious,
friendly,
social
care.
There
some
factors
supported
they
include
programs,
dormitories,
facilities.
Meanwhile,
inhibiting
for
negative
influence
technology,
limited
supervision
by
madrasa
institutions,
weak
cooperation
