Abstract In this study, the lavender essential oil-incorporated polylactic acid (PLA) nanofibers were fabricated by electrospinning technique with presence of kolliphor as a nonionic surfactant. The FTIR spectra supported chemical composition fibers. demonstrated that there is no reaction present between PLA and oil. SEM images all showed bead-free morphology. ImageJ results average diameter oil-loaded fibers ranged 121.6 ± 32 228.2 53 nm. All hydrophobic satisfactory thermal properties.
