T-2 toxin is a highly toxic fungal that threatens humans and animals' health. As major detoxifying metabolic organ, the kidney also target of toxin. This article reviews nephrotoxicity research progress, covering renal structure function damage, mechanisms, detoxification methods to future directions. damages structure, causing dysfunction. The mechanism involves multiple factors including oxidative stress, endoplasmic reticulum mitophagy, inflammatory responses, apoptosis, which are intertwined interdependent. Current strategies mainly involve reducing in feedstuff using antioxidant substances, but both have limits. Future should focus on cells sensitivity toxin, exploring key molecules toxin's nephrotoxicity, injury's impact other organs, better methods. review aims guide underpin toxin-induced prevention treatment.

This study aimed to determine the effect of in ovo injections garlic and tomato extracts on embryogenesis neurological traits chicken embryos with a focus growth parameters development during embryonic stage. A total 300 eggs were placed five distinct groups: Group 1 (control negative, CO, without injection); 2 positive, distilled water, DW, 0.1 mL/egg); 3 (garlic extract, GAR, mg/egg); 4 (tomato TOM, 5 extract mix, ATM, mL/egg). The narrow ends albumins injected fifth day incubation using mL syringe 2-gauge needle. results show significant increase (p<0.01) for mass, chick body weight, hatchability, embryo index (EI) GAR groups compared CO DW. There was also neurons, brain (BI) DW ones. In conclusion, adding into improves development, increases nerve formation, enhances signal transmission within embryo, leading improvements biological processes optimal development.

Mycotoxins are well-known secondary metabolites produced by several fungi that grow and occur in different crops during both pre-harvest post-harvest conditions. The contamination occurrence of mycotoxins currently represent some the major issues entire agri-food system. quantification feeds foodstuffs is extremely difficult because low concentration ranges; therefore, sample collection preparation essential to providing accurate detection reliable quantification. Currently, analytical methods available for feed food products, liquid chromatography coupled with high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) represents most instrumental approach. In particular, fast development high-throughput has made it possible screen analyze, same run high accuracy, multiple mycotoxins, such as those regulated, masked, or modified, emerging ones. Therefore, aim this review provide an overview state art occurrence, health-related concerns, analyses, discussing need perform multi-screening approaches combined omics technologies simultaneously analyze matrices. This approach expected more comprehensive information about profile distribution thus enhancing understanding their co-occurrence impact on production chain.

Trichothecene type A mycotoxins, such as T-2, HT-2, and diacetoxyscirpenol (DAS), are known to induce cytotoxicity apoptosis in different cell types. As all three Fusarium toxins may occur concomitantly a given food or feed commodity, there is growing interest the effect of mycotoxin mixtures. This study aimed identify toxic interactions among DAS human Jurkat model. first step, an MTT assay was used assess after 24 h exposure individual mycotoxins their The results were calculate combination index (CI), which indicates nature interactions. In T cells, toxicity ranking for T-2 > HT-2 DAS. CI values dual triple combinations calculated from reactive oxygen species assays showed synergistic effects at low concentrations apparent antagonism very high combinations. additional cytometric analyses confirmed effects, expected, following co-exposure tested trichothecenes. lower toxin investigated reflect natural contamination levels feeds, identified should be considered risk characterization trichothecene humans animals.

Thymic epithelial cells (TECs) are critical for thymic structure and function, yet the impact of T-2 toxin (T-2) on TECs related molecular pathways remains unclear. This study sheds light mechanisms T-2-induced TEC damage, focusing ROS-NF-κB-NLRP3 signaling axis. The in vivo vitro analyses suggest that induces injury through ROS-driven NLRP3 inflammasome activation, NF-κB signaling, inflammation, apoptosis. Molecular docking analysis verified binding to components involved oxidative stress, inflammatory pathways, These findings were further supported by therapeutic interventions targeting ROS NLRP3. N-acetylcysteine (NAC) effectively reduced levels, suppressed inhibited mitigated inflammation apoptosis, effects mirrored inhibitor MCC950, emphasizing role ROS-mediated activation damage. Concurrently, inhibition apoptosis MTEC1 cells, pivotal function axis pathogenesis injury. Our offers an in-depth insight into driving immunotoxicity identifies potential strategies these mitigate preserve immune function.

Mycotoxins are secondary fungal metabolites that frequently contaminate poultry feed, posing significant risks to animal health, productivity, and food safety. In broiler production, mycotoxins such as aflatoxins, trichothecenes, fumonisins, ochratoxin A, deoxynivalenol, zearalenone have been shown impair growth performance, damage key organs, disrupt immune function. This review explores the multifaceted impact of mycotoxin exposure in broilers, with particular emphasis on immunosuppression, decreased vaccine efficacy, increased vulnerability infectious diseases, including coccidiosis, salmonellosis, E. coli, viral infections like bursal disease laryngotracheitis. Mycotoxin contamination feed can lead direct economic losses through reduced conversion efficiency, mortality, reproductive disorders, while also resulting transfer toxic residues into meat eggs, thereby threatening consumer health. The further examines synergistic interactions between pathogens, physiological histopathological changes exposed birds, implications for public Finally, it discusses current mitigation strategies, binders, probiotics, regulatory approaches reduce exposure. An integrated management strategy combining hygiene, monitoring, targeted nutritional interventions is essential safeguard enhance responses, ensure safety poultry-derived products. offers actionable insights veterinarians, nutritionists, policymakers, reinforcing importance strategies within a One Health framework.

T-2 toxin, the most toxic type A trichothecene, is widely present in grain and animal feed, causing growth retardation tissue damage poultry. Geese are more sensitive to toxin than chickens ducks. Although has been reported cause tibial plate (TGP) chondrodysplasia chickens, caused by geese not fully demonstrated. This study aims investigate adverse effects of on bone development, quality, chondrocyte differentiation, metabolism. Here, forty-eight one-day-old male Yangzhou goslings were randomly divided into four groups daily gavaged with at concentrations 0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 mg/kg body weight for 21 days, respectively. The development gosling size was determined weighing taking measurements after exposure different toxin. Changes characteristics radiographic examination, phenotypic measurements, quality composition analyses. Chondrocyte differentiation TGP metabolism characterized cell morphology, gene-specific expression, serum marker levels. Results showed that treatment resulted a lower weight, volume, length, middle width, circumference tibia dose-dependent manner (
