Abstract
The
decline
of
insect
pollinators
is
a
global
concern,
and
the
use
pesticides
has
been
identified
as
potential
cause
for
it.
Glyphosate‐based
herbicides
(GBHs)
are
world's
most
used
pesticides,
but
until
recent
years
they
have
claimed
to
be
safe
non‐target
organisms,
such
pollinators.
Using
controlled
arena
experiments,
we
investigated
effects
on
learning
long‐term
memory
buff‐tailed
bumblebees,
Bombus
terrestris
(L.)
(Hymenoptera:
Apidae),
single
field‐realistic
dose
glyphosate,
both
in
its
pure
form
commercial
herbicide
(Roundup
Gold)
containing
active
ingredient
(a.i.)
glyphosate
other
co‐formulants.
We
found
that
caused
deterioration
ability
bumblebees
10‐color
discrimination
experiment;
glyphosate‐treated
bees
discriminated
colors
over
10%
worse
than
untreated
control
bees.

commercially
GBH
had
no
observable
effect
despite

Abstract
Bumblebees
are
key
pollinators

gut
microbiotas
that
support
host
health.

Abstract
Bumblebees
play
an
important
ecological

Abstract
Background
In
this
study,
a
probiotic
mixture
(Honeybeeotic)
consisting
of
seven
bacterial
strains
isolated
from
unique
population
honeybees
(
Apis
mellifera
ligustica
)
was
used.

Abstract
Exposure
to
agrochemical
sprays
containing
pesticides
and
tank-mix
adjuvants
has
been
implicated
in
post-bloom
mortality,
particularly
of
brood,
honey
bee
colonies
brought
into
California
almond
orchards
for
pollination.
Although
are
generally
considered
be
biologically
inert,
some
have
exhibited
toxicity
sublethal
effects,
including
decreasing
survival
rates
next-generation
queens.

investigate
the
impact
pesticide-adjuvant
combinations
on
