An in vivo model is necessary for toxicology. This review analyzed the uses of zebrafish (Danio rerio) toxicology based on bibliometrics. Totally 56,816 publications about from 2002 to 2023 were found Web Science Core Collection, with Toxicology as top 6 among all disciplines. Accordingly, bibliometric map reveals that "toxicity" has become a hot keyword. It further most common exposure types include acute, chronic, and combined exposure. Microplastics have become a great worldwide problem and it's therefore important to study their possible effects on human environmental health. In this study, zebrafish embryos were used compare two different sizes of polystyrene microplastics (PS-MPs), 1 μm 3 respectively, at 0.01, 0.1, 1.0 10.0 mgL-1, monitored up 72 hours. Toxicity tests demonstrated that neither the PS-MPs altered embryos' survival normal hatching process. Instead, higher concentrations both caused an increase heart rate phenotypic changes. Environmental nanoplastics pose a potential health risk due to human exposure, necessitating studies on their cellular effects. This study aims assess the toxic and antibacterial properties of polystyrene (PS-NH2) MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells HFF-2 fibroblast cells, while also evaluating oxidative stress responses. Additionally, explores anti-tumor effects apoptosis induction by PS-NH2. The primary objectives were determine cytotoxicity, efficacy, response PS-NH2 at different concentrations sizes. aimed investigate mechanism cell death, including apoptosis, necrosis, cycle arrest, changes in antioxidant enzyme activity (SOD GPx). Nanoplastic characterized using FTIR, FESEM, zeta analysis. Antibacterial assessed agar dilution method, MTT assay determined cytotoxicity cells. Apoptosis, activities (SOD, GPx) evaluated. FTIR analysis confirmed amino-functionalization with wide peak 3386 cm-1, indicated neutral charge. showed no against E. coli or Staphylococcus aureus sizes 90, 200, 300 nm. Cytotoxicity assays revealed dose-dependent decreases viability for both lines. SOD GPx decreased significantly increasing concentrations.
