This research aims to find the relationship of smartphone competence and information literacy self-efficacy with digital citizenship. Objectives study were achieved through quantitative approach. The population was ‘ Education ’ students different universities a convenient technique used. Data analysed using SPSS SmartPLS software. Findings showed significant mobile citizenship (DC). Performance Expectancy (PE) Facilitating Conditions (FC) also significantly related DC. However, Effort (EE) Social Influence (SI) are not Two variables (defining initiating, assessing communicating) Information Literacy Self-efficacy (ILS) found as predictors DC, one variable (locating information) examined among constructs theories social cognitive (mobile self-efficacy), UTAUT, self-efficacy, which opens new horizons for researchers in fields such technology, psychology, science.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the media needs children's literature fairy tales in grade III at SD N 1 Tuko, Grobogan Regency. This used mixed methods with a sequential exploratory model. subjects were third teacher and five students purposive sampling technique for qualitative data 25 Tuko quantitative data. instrument interviews find out problems experienced then analyzed by triangulating questionnaire was using descriptive statistics. results showed that teachers LKS picture books as source reading tales. Teachers have not innovated digital integrated local wisdom so are less interested media. From study it can be concluded classroom need innovative sources dogeng improve literacy quality, namely understand content reading.

Abstract As teachers are purveyors of digital citizenship and their perspectives influence classroom practice, it is important to understand teachers' views on citizenship. This study establishes the Teachers' Perceptions Digital Citizenship Scale (T‐PODS) as a survey instrument for scholars investigate educators' students. Drawing upon existing research, theorized model was developed validated via confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), resulting in 14‐item four‐factor model. Factor constructs include ethics, participation engagement, informed citizens civic know‐how. can shift over time, particularly with emergence new technologies, utilize T‐PODS they perceptions across time context. Pathways to professional digital competence to teach for digital citizenship: social science teacher education in flux DOI Creative Commons

Increasingly pervasive digital technologies in societies are placing complex demands on the development of young people's citizenship and competence. Social science education teacher (TE) play important, but poorly understood, roles this development. Through reflexive thematic analysis semi-structured interviews, paper explores 15 Swedish educators' (TEDs) views teaching for citizenship, particularly social TE's role. We also consider organisational personal conditions that may influence TEDs' professional competence (PDC) such teaching. Their examined through a postdigital lens, with focus democratic implications evolving socio-technical environments. The results indicate TEDs acknowledge importance TE find maintaining responsiveness to societal changes challenging. Challenges posed by multidisciplinary character education, including how trajectories shape their dual-didactic task teach citizenship. This contributes knowledge TEDs, as 'street-level bureaucrats' TE, navigate between written performed policy specific attention dynamic PDC education.

Disabled people need to be activists given the many problematic lived realities they face. However, frequently encounter obstacles in traditional offline activism. Online activism could a potential alternative. The objective of this scoping review is examine extent and nature coverage disabled academic literature that focuses on online We searched abstracts Scopus, Web Science, 70 databases EBSCO-HOST for presence 57 terms linked or tools places activism, which generated 18,069 qualitative analysis. Of abstracts, only 54 discussed by people. Among these relevant one contained term “Global South”. No were found “Metaverse” “Democrac*” together with “activis*”. Only two phrase “digital citizen*”. Out terms, 28 had no hits. thematic analysis identified 24 themes: 6 themes 30 positive sentiment, 7 negative 11 present 23 neutral sentiment. There three main role use activism; technical accessibility barriers attitudinal problems arising from ableist judgments. intersectionality disability identity other marginalized identities issue empowerment rarely addressed, ability judgment-based concepts beyond term’s “ableism” “ableist” not used. study underscores necessity further research few found. also indicates actions are needed examples best practices exist applied more often. Future studies should incorporate broader range enrich support activists.

The spread of mis- and dis-information during elections creates an opportunity imperative to cultivate develop critical civic literacy with young people. Leading up the 2019 Canadian federal election, researchers worked non-governmental organisation (NGO) CIVIX translate research on visual media into innovative timely teaching resource: Questioning Images.
