Abstract Existing literature on women's empowerment (aligned with SDG 5) overlooks the diverse experiences and obstacles faced by women from various racial, ethnic, socioeconomic backgrounds. This lack of intersectionality within studies hinders our understanding unique challenges encountered marginalized limits effectiveness policies interventions aimed at fostering their empowerment. To address this gap, study delves into processes empowering in Bangladesh. Qualitative data were gathered through semi‐structured interviews 12 working women. Thematic analysis qualitative revealed that face numerous challenges, including education, family support, economic freedom, as well complicated to access government support adapt technological changes. The study focuses on the significance of empowering women, which plays a crucial role in sustainable transformation rural communities. It highlights relevance tourism as both an indicator women’s livelihoods and catalyst for meaningful change. Objective: This study aims to analyze the tourism network of Labuan Bajo, focusing on identifying key destinations and their roles within network, particularly for women solo travelers.
