Natural products have attracted wide attention in the cosmetics market due to their safety and high efficiency. As a highly active substance nature, natural polysaccharides been reported recent years various cosmetic activities such as moisturizing, whitening, anti-aging repairing skin, are becoming hot research topic industry. At present, mechanism of polysaccharide exerting activity has widely studied, but relationship between polysaccharide's chemical structure not effectively analyzed, which leads limitation development. In this review, skin repair was introduced. The potential summarized by analyzing influence physical properties polysaccharides, extraction method, molecular weight, monosaccharide composition, functional group structural modification, etc., laid foundation for analysis improved its value.
