Abstract Sulfur dioxide (SO2) is widely used in food processing to extend the shelf life of food. However, excessive intake SO2 and its derivatives (HSO3- SO32-) can cause oxidative damage body, resulting several diseases. How construct probes for rapid real-time detection HSO3- field beneficial developmental needs practical applications, but it also very challenging. Here we report a dual-mode fluorescent probe Rh-QL ultrafast HSO3-, which undergoes specific 1,4-Michael addition reaction with sulfite achieve Near-infrared fluorescence turn-on. Probe was able detect within 5 s significant color change from violet green strong signal at 700 nm. The has been HSO3- in real sugar samples be prepared as portable sensing kit environment due high efficiency, rapidity accuracy. Abstract Exploiting photothermal agents with second‐near‐infrared (NIR‐II, 1000−1700 nm) emission and a high conversion efficiency (PCE) is an appealing challenging task. Herein, by simultaneously tailoring the D−A interaction planarity in fluorophores, two donor‐acceptor (D−A) −type semiconducting polymers (SPs), T‐BTP B‐BTP, are constructed. Compared T‐BTP, B‐BTP shows increased intramolecular interactions improved molecular planarity, leading to bathochromic‐shift absorption, NIR‐II emission, PCE. Notably, NPs achieve remarkable PCE of 84.7%, which among highest PCEs SPs fluorescence imaging‐guided therapy (PTT). Because these promising features, successfully used vascular imaging cancer therapy. This study provides valuable guidelines for development high‐performance SPs.

Abstract Precise tumor diagnosis and treatment remain complex challenges. While numerous fluorescent probes have been developed for tumor‐specific imaging therapy, few exhibit effective function in vivo. Herein, a probe called TQ‐H 2 is designed that can realize robust theranostic effects both vitro In vitro, specifically targets the lysosome reacts with hydroxyl radical (·OH) to generate TQ‐HA, which lights up cells. TQ‐HA generates reactive oxygen species (ROS) under light irradiation, enabling simultaneous induction monitoring of apoptosis ferroptosis Remarkably, also acts as self‐amplifier, autocatalytically activating by generating ·OH exposure. This self‐amplification aligns microenvironment, where undergoes chemical transformation, distinguishing tumors from healthy tissue via near‐infrared (NIR) fluorescence imaging.
