Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a major public health concern, and the development of an effective HCV vaccine plays important role in effort to prevent new infections. Supramolecular co-assembly co-presentation envelope E1E2 heterodimer complex core protein presents attractive design strategy for achieving humoral cellular immunity. With this objective, two antigens were non-covalently assembled with immunostimulant (TLR 7/8 agonist) into virus-mimicking polymer nanocomplexes (VMPNs) using biodegradable synthetic polyphosphazene delivery vehicle. AIDS causes increasing mortality every year. With advancements in nanomedicine, different nanomaterials (NMs) have been applied to treat and overcome its limitations. Among NMs, nanoparticles (NPs) can act as nanocarriers due their enhanced solubility, sustained release, targeting abilities facilitation of drug-dose reductions. This review discusses recent therapeutics for AIDS/HIV using various mainly focused on three classifications: polymeric, liposomal inorganic NMs. Polymeric dendrimers, polyethylenimine-NPs, poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)-NPs, chitosan the use liposomal-based delivery systems NPs, including gold silver are explored. Recent advances, current challenges future perspectives these NMs better management HIV/AIDS also discussed.

Lipid coating is considered a versatile strategy to equip nanoparticles (NPs) with biomimetic surface coating, but the membrane properties of these nanoassemblies remain in many cases insufficiently understood. In this work, we apply C-Laurdan generalized polarization (GP) measurements probe temperature-dependent polarity hybrid membranes consisting lipid monolayer adsorbed onto polylactic acid (PLA) polymer core as function composition and compare behavior coated NPs (LNPs) that liposomes assembled from identical mixtures. The LNPs were generated by nanoprecipitation aqueous solutions containing two types mixtures: (i) cholesterol, dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC), ganglioside GM3, well (ii) dioleoylphosphatidylcholine (DOPC), DPPC GM3. found exhibit more distinct narrower phase transitions than corresponding retain detectable even for cholesterol or DOPC concentrations yielded no liposomes. These findings together higher GP values case temperatures above transition temperature indicate stabilization through core.
