Abstract Climate change is drastically altering the frequency, duration, and severity of compound drought‐heatwave (CDHW) episodes, which present a new challenge in environmental socioeconomic sectors. Although many studies have reported the mortality effect of temperature, there were few on risk humidity, let alone joint temperature and humidity. Climate change is directly and indirectly linked to human health, including through access treatment care. Our systematic review presents a systems understanding of the nexus between drought antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence in HIV-positive individuals African setting.
