Low molecular weight chitosan selenium nanoparticles (LCS-SeNPs), a biologically active compound derived from polysaccharides, have demonstrated potential in addressing obesity. However, the mechanism through which LCS-SeNPs alleviate high-fat diet (HFD)-induced non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) remains unclear. Our results elucidated that significantly inhibited fat accumulation and markedly improved intestinal barrier by increasing mucus secretion goblet cells. Moreover, reshaped flora composition abundance of mucus-associated microbiota (Bifidobacterium, Akkermansia, Muribaculaceae_unclassified) decreasing obesity-contributed bacterium (Anaerotruncus, Lachnoclostridium, Proteus). The modulation influenced several metabolic pathways, including bile acid secretion, purine metabolites, tryptophan derivation. Meanwhile, glycocholic tauro-beta-muricholic were reduced LCS-SeNP group. study suggests crucial role metabolism, providing new theoretical foundation for utilizing polysaccharides intervention HFD-induced NAFLD.

Fu tea is receiving increasing attention for its specific aroma, flavor, and dramatic functional benefits. Herein, we explored the effects underlying mechanisms of loose (FLT), brick (FBT), diet pills (orlistat) on a high-fat (HFD)-induced obesity. The results indicated that FLT FBT administration effectively inhibited weight gain, glucose metabolic dysregulation, fat accumulation in organs, hepatic kidney injury, oxidative stress induced by HFD. Additionally, treatments improved lipid profiles reduced production proinflammatory cytokines regulating expression levels metabolism- inflammation-related genes. Furthermore, ameliorated gut microbiota dysbiosis HFD-mice dose-dependent relationship abundance family Verrucomicrobiaceae genus

Abstract The optimal strategy for improving cardiometabolic factors (CMFs) in young obese individuals through diet and exercise remains unclear, as do the potential mechanisms. We conducted an 8‐week randomized controlled trial to compare effects of different interventions youth with overweight/obesity. Gut microbes serum metabolites were examined identify regulating A total 129 undergraduates randomly assigned fiber‐rich (FR) diet, rope‐skipping (RS), combined FR–RS control groups. results showed that single effective weight, waist circumference, body fat, lipid profile compared group. Notably, FR group further reduced low‐density lipoprotein (LDL‐C) uric acid (UA) (all p < 0.05). Mediation analysis revealed four gut microbiota–metabolite–host axes CMFs. Additionally, we used machine learning algorithms predict individual responses based on baseline microbiota composition, specific microbial genera guiding targeted intervention selection. In conclusion, and/or RS CMFs, particular effectiveness reducing LDL‐C UA levels. These benefits may drive by microbiome–metabolite–host interactions. Moreover, predictability composition supports making decisions selecting interventions. Trial Registration: NCT04834687.

However, functional compounds in bee on anti-CNP remain still unclear. In this study, we evaluated the properties of six principal phenolamides pollen. Our results provide compelling evidence that property may be ascribed abundance phenolamides. Particularly, di-p-Coumaroyl spermidine can CNP by upregulating autophagy via AMPK/mTOR signaling pathway regulating gut microbiota, based cellular rat models. Apricot bee pollen is an important natural product that exhibits antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. Deoxynivalenol (DON), one of the most prevalent mycotoxins produced by Fusarium fungi, poses risks to both human animal reproductive systems. We observed exposure DON inhibited cell proliferation induced apoptosis in bovine granulosa cells (bGCs), accompanied a significant downregulation PCNA expression upregulation BAX expression. RNA sequencing analysis revealed differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were primarily enriched oxidation-reduction process, oxidoreductase activity, steroid biosynthesis. further confirmed production estrogen progesterone decreasing protein levels CYP19A1 StAR. Additionally, increased reactive oxygen species (ROS) malondialdehyde (MDA) dose-dependent manner, suggesting oxidative stress bGCs. Importantly, we demonstrated apricot ethanol extract (ABPE) viability bGCs alleviated effects DON-induced reduction dysfunction. Furthermore, ABPE attenuated increase ROS upregulated antioxidant-related gene heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1). These results reveal protective against reduction, disorder, stress, providing new insights into potential as promising agent improve mycotoxin contamination.
