In
questioning
the
nature
of
an
‘educational
journey’,
common
analogies
‘a
pilgrimage’
or
quest’
need
to
give
sufficient
prominence

This
is
explored
here
through
autoethnographic
case
study,
in
which
plateaus
intellectual
journey
are
signalled

work.

qualitative

Across

longstanding
and
more
recent
studies
in
the
field
of
teacher
education,
work
with
a
specific
focus
on
diverse
genders,
sexes
sexualities
is
relatively
uncommon.
Furthermore,
there
little
that
acknowledges
interwoven
emotional
experiences
learnings
LGBTIQ+
(lesbian,
gay,
bisexual,
transgender,
intersex
queer)
community
members,
students
classrooms,
their
teachers.
In
particular,
seems
to
be
few
possibilities
for
preservice
practising
teachers
develop
pedagogical
strategies
contribute
towards
developing
inclusive
classrooms
broadly.
Drawing
Vygotsky's
cultural-historical
theoretical
approach,
specifically
concept
perezhivanie,
this
chapter
rests
three
graduate
who
narrate
own
school
teaching
as
panel
members
an
audience
(PSTs).
Findings
indicate
complexities
associated
being
'outed'
by
others
how
produced
range
shaped
identities
learning
they
transitioned
from
primary
secondary
school.
Secondly,
over
time
through
process
development,
(as
teachers)
desires
advocates
future
work.
