ABSTRACTIn Vietnam, the Ministry of Education and Training recently issued 2018 Literacy Curriculum Guideline, which required elementary teachers to add different knowledge for teaching reading comprehension based on competency-based approach. This study aimed develop an instrument assess pedagogical content this curriculum guideline. Participants were a group four experts, 126 pre-service in three universities education, 105 in-service ten schools Ho Chi Minh City. Using stages development, Pedagogical Content Knowledge Teaching Reading Comprehension Instrument (PCK-RC) was developed, including 58 items. Data analyses found high levels validity reliability PCK-RC instrument. Learner autonomy has recently been adopted as a desirable educational goal in many countries and dominant topic teaching learning English. Despite numerous studies on the initiatives to foster learner various contexts, little research explored how high school teachers interpret their students’ autonomy, especially relation new competence-based curriculum for general education Vietnam. This paper aimed address this gap by investing teachers’ beliefs related using mixed-methods approach. Within the realm of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction, there was pressure and drive to achieve success in execution curriculum. Nevertheless, teachers encountered difficulties implementing curriculum achieving successful outcomes. In order desired objectives implementation EFL curriculum, it is necessary have positive interacting variables that contribute overall dynamics. This study aimed investigate effect school culture on language teachers' commitment (TCCI), well mediating role external factors, self-efficacy (SE), job satisfaction (JS) this effect. The sample involved 533 from public middle schools Algeria. A questionnaire adopted for teacher-principal relationship (TPR), teacher-teacher (TTR), teacher-student (TSR), SE, JS, TCCI. analysis done with help SPSS 26, JASP, structural equation modeling (SEM). results showed significantly direct TPR, TTR, TSR Furthermore, indirect had TCCI via SE JS. These findings suggested number different courses action policy, research, practice regarding interaction between teachers, principals, students over next several years raise JS levels.

This qualitative study aims to uncover the characteristics of teacher professional development (TPD) among groups Vietnamese primary schools in context educational reform light a sociocultural perspective. Data were collected from 12 participants four Central Vietnam using in-depth interviews. The comprised one principal, team leader and each school. Qualitative analysis data showed that three TPD, namely self-directedness, collegiality situatedness, evident activities school teachers. also reported most teachers active activities. However, several challenges hindering actively participating learning communities. These included inflexibility due old age, limited access information technology, financial difficulties, or unsupportive family conditions. results revealed influenced by school's leadership. was relatively high. Principal instructional leadership plays a key role in promoting teachers' professional learning and development. This paper reports the findings of qualitative study investigating principal Vietnamese primary schools from perspective teachers school principals. This paper discusses learner autonomy (LA), which has recently been adopted as an important educational goal in the new competence-based curriculum for general education Vietnam. The study explored how primary school teachers' Emotional Exhaustion (emotional exhaustion) is implemented in the context of General Education Curriculum 2018 and what factors it influenced by. By gathering quantitative data from 310 teachers through a questionnaire, has given reality emotional exhaustion number that influence such as supervisory support, time pressure, relations with parents, relation colleagues, autonomy. We use descriptive statistical analysis to determine level teachers’ perceptions related To explore relationship between school, used linear regression analysis. The Curriculum for Wales became statutory Welsh schools in September 2022. This study aimed to gather insight from teachers embedding the New within their context, with a specific focus on implementation of Health and Wellbeing (HWB) Area Learning Experience (AoLE). Participants included fifteen (secondary n = 8, primary 7), currently teaching Wales, who had been involved curriculum design HWB AoLE context. research utilised novel combining both professional learning an innovative workshop design. The significance of environmental education has become more evident, driven by global concerns surrounding climate change. In Vietnam, a country facing significant challenges, developing knowledge elementary school teachers is crucial. This study aimed to validate questionnaire for assessing professional in teaching issues, originally designed the Korean context. Recognizing need adaptation Vietnamese educational system, language, and local initial 39-item underwent validation process. A total 86 participated construct validity reliability, while eight qualified professionals evaluated content validity. results indicated that indices each item ranged from .88 1.00, scale-content index was .90. Exploratory factor analysis confirmed validity, organizing 27 items into seven dimensions. Cronbach’s ⍺ coefficient .86, which demonstrated high level reliability.
