Our
aim
was
to
explore
the
aberrant
intrinsic
functional
topology
in
methamphetamine-dependent
individuals
after
six
months
of
abstinence
using
resting-state
magnetic
imaging
(rs-fMRI).
Eleven
methamphetamines
(MA)
abstainers
who
have
abstained
for
and
eleven
healthy
controls
(HC)
were
recruited
rs-fMRI
examination.
The
graph
theory
connectivity
(FC)
analysis
employed
investigate
brain
between
two
groups
at
multiple
levels.
Compared
with
HC
group,
characteristic
shortest
path
length
($

$)
showed
a
significant
decrease

level,

found
group

FC,
including
frontoparietal
(FPN),
subcortical
(SCN),
VAN,
DAN,
SMN,
VN
DMN.
Moreover,
FC
large-scale
networks
revealed
within
SCN
networks.
These
findings
suggest
that
some
functions,
e.g.,
processing
skills,
object
recognition
memory,
may
not
fully
recover
withdrawal.
This
leads
possibility
relapse
behavior
when
confronted
MA-related
cues,
which
contribute
explaining
mechanism.
We
also
provide
basis
revealing
neural
mechanism
MA-dependency
abstinence.

Background
The
basal
nucleus
of
Meynert
(BNM),
a
primary
source
cholinergic
projections
to
the
cortex,

roles
in
regulating
sleep-wake
cycle
and
attention.
Sleep

dysfunction

connectivities

on

Quality

adults

Introduction
Insomnia
is
a
common
comorbidity
symptom

major
depressive
disorder
(MDD)
