Abstract Near‐infrared photosensitizers are valuable tools to improve treatment depth in photodynamic therapy (PDT). However, their low singlet oxygen ( 1 O 2 ) generation ability, indicated by quantum yield, presents a formidable challenge for PDT. To overcome this challenge, the heptamethine cyanine was decorated with biocompatible S Scy7 and Se Secy7 atom. We observe that exhibits redshift main absorption ~840 nm an ultra‐efficient capacity. The emergence of strong intramolecular charge transfer effect between atom polymethine chain considerably narrows energy gap (0.51 eV), heavy strengthens spin–orbit coupling (1.44 cm −1 ), both which greatly improved high triplet state yield (61 %), determines . Therefore, demonstrated excellent capacity, is ~24.5‐fold indocyanine green, ~8.2‐fold IR780, ~1.3‐fold methylene blue under low‐power‐density 850 irradiation (5 mW −2 ). considerable phototoxicity toward cancer cells buried 12 mm tissue. Nanoparticles formed encapsulating within amphiphilic polymers lecithin, promising antitumor anti‐pulmonary metastatic effects, exhibiting remarkable potential advancing PDT deep tissues.

Abstract Atherosclerosis, a major global health concern with high morbidity and mortality rates, involves complex interactions of chronic inflammation, oxidative stress, proteolytic enzymes. Conventional imaging methods struggle to capture the dynamic biochemical processes in atherosclerotic plaques. Here, we introduce novel unimolecular photoacoustic probe (UMAPP) designed specific binding sites for neutrophil elastase (NE) redox pair O 2 ⋅ − /GSH, enabling real‐time monitoring stress activated neutrophils UMAPP, comprising boron‐dipyrromethene (BODIPY) core linked hydrophilic NE‐cleavable tetrapeptide dual stress‐responsive catechol moieties, facilitates NE‐mediated modulation photoinduced electron transfer impacting intensity at 685 nm (PA ). Furthermore, oxidation reduction groups by GSH induce reversible, ratiometric changes spectrum 745 /PA ratio). Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) represent the forefront of mRNA delivery platforms, yet achieving precise to specific cells remains a challenge. The current targeting strategies complicate formulation and impede regulatory approval process. Here, through straightforward regulation helper lipids within LNPs, we introduce an engineered LNP designed for targeted into hepatocytes metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) treatment. optimized LNP, supplied with POPC as lipid, exhibits 2.49-fold increase in transfection efficiency compared that FDA-approved LNPs. The comprehensive evaluation of tumor vasculature that is crucial for the development, expansion, and spread cancer still remains a great challenge, especially three-dimensional (3D) vasculatures. In this study, we proposed magnetic resonance (MR) angiography strategy with interlocking stratagem zwitterionic Gd-chelate contrast agents (PAA-Gd) continuous monitoring angiogenesis progression in 3D. Owing to structure nanoscale molecular diameter, longitudinal molar relaxivity (r1) PAA-Gd was 2.5 times higher than individual Gd-chelates on 7.0 T MRI scanner, resulting higher-resolution visualization More importantly, has appropriate blood half-life (69.2 min), emphasizing extended imaging window compared Gd-chelates. On basis, by using as agent, high-resolution, 3D depiction spatiotemporal distribution microvasculature solid tumors formed different cell lines over various inoculation been obtained. This method offers an effective approach early diagnosis, development assessment, prognosis evaluation.
