Abstract Metaverse has garnered considerable attention in recent times. Given its swift pace of development, it is imperative to study the adoption metaverse. This analyses perceptions and drivers influencing behavioural intention use metaverse among Generation Z millennials by employing a sequential mixed‐methods approach. In first stage study, in‐depth expert interviews were conducted ( n = 20), subsequent featured countrywide survey 1253). The outcomes this indicate that perceived usefulness, personal innovativeness, enjoyment, facilitating conditions, telepresence, social presence, trust, regulatory support influence attitudes intentions towards findings also reveal significant difference strength few relationships across age, gender, income levels, shedding light on crucial factors for organisations seeking position themselves strategically various demographic groups. significantly contributes existing knowledge emerging optimistic pessimistic affecting By harnessing these outcomes, can enhance development promotion experiences.

This study explores the factors influencing adoption and acceptance of Metaverse technologies in educational settings. Despite growing interest immersive environments provided by Metaverse, there is a lack comprehensive understanding regarding elements that affect user engagement acceptance. paper aims to bridge this gap through systematic review empirical studies apply Information Systems theories such as TAM, UTAUT, TPB, their extensions. A total 35 were analyzed using methodical approach. The research methodologies employed these include surveys, structural equation modeling, interviews, providing broad spectrum data on how different influence outcomes Metaverse. findings reveal contexts influenced multiple at individual, technological, environmental levels. Key identified effort expectancy, behavioral intention, self-efficacy, enjoyment, immersion. The metaverse has created a huge buzz of interest because such phenomenon is emerging. behavioral aspect the includes user engagement and deviant behaviors in metaverse. Such technology brought various dangers to individuals society. There are growing cases reported sexual abuse, racism, harassment, hate speech, bullying online disinhibition make us feel more relaxed. This study responded literature call by investigating effect technical social features through mediating roles security privacy on data collected from virtual network users reached 1121 respondents. Partial Least Squares based structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) fuzzy set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) were used. Despite the potential of meta-education to transform higher education, there remains a scarcity research investigating students' adoption intentions. This study aimed identify factors influencing intentions adopt using an extended Decomposed Theory Planned Behavior model (DTPB). Data was collected via online survey 596 education students from Jordan who were purposefully selected. Structural equation modeling partial least squares analysis revealed attitude, social influence, and perceived behavioral control as key antecedents intention. Furthermore, newly added variables including enjoyment, herd behavior, student autonomy, innovativeness showed efficiency in explaining variance control. Overall, provided meaningful insights on driving willingness meta-education. The contributes theory by extending decomposed TPB context emerging educational technologies. It also provides practical implications for policymakers educators aiming encourage adoption.

AbstractThe Metaverse holds immense potential for individuals, organizations, and society, providing immersive innovative experiences. However, its adoption is a complex process influenced by various factors yet to be thoroughly understood. Therefore, this systematic review aims identify classify the drivers barriers affecting adoption. Of 279 papers gathered from Web of Science Scopus databases, 29 studies fulfilled eligibility requirements underwent detailed analysis. Purpose The Metaverse is an immersive virtual world where individuals interact with each other using avatar. promised to offer several potentials for different sectors. Thus, this paper aims identify factors that affect users' intentions toward technology purposes HEIs Jordan. Design/methodology/approach A study model was created by incorporating variables from unified theory (UTAUT) (performance expectancy, PE; effort EE; social influence, SI; facilitating conditions, FC) information system success (ISS) (user satisfaction, SAT; quality, SQ; service SVQ IQ) perceived curiosity (PC) hedonic gratification (HG) constructs. Both PC HG were added as context-related could contribute improving applicability UTAUT ISS wide range contexts. Data gathered 441 Jordanian university students online questionnaire. Findings analysis structural revealed behavioural significantly affected user satisfaction (SAT), performance expectancy (PE), conditions (FC) (HG). Also, quality (IQ) services (SVQ) have significant influence satisfaction. Likewise, results illustrated impact systems (SQ), PE. Lastly, effect EE factor found.
