The
paper
draws
linkages
between
ethnic
diversity
of
the
eight
federal
districts
Russia
and
their
technological
development
(access
use
ICTs,
digital
literacy,
etc.).
We
show
that
although
there
is
no
universal
correlation

regions

advancement,

Russians
constitute
majority
(i.e.
Central
Northwestern)
more
often
tend
to
be
country's
leaders
in
terms
development.

on

we
purposive
sample
398
Internet
users
based
Russia,
showing
how
capital
varies
depending
ethnicity

distinguish
two
large
groups
–
non-Russians,
self-identification
survey
participants)

Results

despite
being
indicative,

belonging

Russians)

big
cities
have
a
higher
capital.

Purpose
This
paper
contributes
to

literature

analysis

digital
inequalities
in
Russia
that

on
two
aspects

explored:
interregionality

comparing

eight
federal
districts)

taking
into
account
three
levels

Findings
We
consider
study

Social
conflict
is
one
of
the
key
concepts
for
social
studies,
which,
however,
does
not
have
generally
accepted
definitions.
The
purpose
article
to
clarify
main
topics
research
in
Russian
media
studies
and
determine
their
place
within
context
conflictology.
We
attempted
categorize
theoretically
define
these
objects
academic
tradition,
based
on
content
analysis
articles
by
authors
published
2014–2021.
As
a
result,
eight
types
were
described,
as

four
thematic
blocks
found,
which
together
form
structure
discourse
studies.
Thus,
it

Ethnic
journalists,

disseminate

However,

known

how
technology-driven
changes
reshaping
landscape,
if
such
developments
have
any
implications
strengthen
communicative
power
culturally
pluralistic
societies.
This
study
hence
reflects
upon
cases
Pakistan
Russia.
Informed
by
framework
convergence
discourse
studies
(CDS),
this
investigates
key
Pakistan's
Russia's
media.
Moreover,
primarily
uses
qualitative
method
in-depth
interviews
(face-to-face
online)
offers
an
inductive
thematic
analysis
data.
