Maejo 341 Sweet potato (MSP) is a new purple sweet variety cultivated in Northern Thailand, but its health benefits are unknown. This study aimed to investigate antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-osteoporotic activities, as well anthocyanin content. The peel flesh of MSP were extracted with ethanol water. Compared the extracts, extracts presented greater antioxidant capacity rich phenolics, flavonoids, anthocyanins, namely, cyanidin-3-O-glucoside, peonidin-3-O-glucoside, pelargonidin-3-O-glucoside, cyanidin, peonidin. suppressed lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammation by inhibiting secretion proinflammatory cytokines enzymes, including TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, COX-2, iNOS, reducing nitric oxide matrix metalloproteinase-9 secretion. inhibited RANKL-induced NF-κB MAPK pathways downregulated osteoclastogenic marker expression. Under LPS RANKL treatment, notably reduced reactive oxygen species production while increasing gene Furthermore, they increased osteoblast viability slightly raise alkaline phosphatase activity. These findings suggest that could be used functional food alleviate oxidative stress inflammation-related osteoporosis.

Abstract Cell death regulation is essential for tissue homeostasis and its dysregulation often underlies cancer development. Understanding the different pathways of cell can provide novel therapeutic strategies battling cancer. This review explores several key mechanisms apoptosis, necroptosis, autophagic death, ferroptosis, pyroptosis. The research gap addressed involves a thorough analysis how these be precisely targeted therapy, considering tumor heterogeneity adaptation. It delves into genetic epigenetic factors signaling cascades like phosphatidylinositol 3‐kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target rapamycin (PI3K/AKT/mTOR) mitogen‐activated protein kinase/extracellular signal‐regulated (MAPK/ERK) pathways, which are critical death. Additionally, interaction microenvironment with cells, particularly influence hypoxia, nutrient deprivation, immune cellular interactions, explored. Emphasizing strategies, this highlights emerging modulators inducers such as B lymphoma 2 (BCL2) homology domain 3 (BH3) mimetics, tumour necrosis factor‐related apoptosis‐inducing ligand (TRAIL), chloroquine, innovative approaches to induce ferroptosis provides insights therapy's future direction, focusing on multifaceted circumvent drug resistance. examination evolving underlines considerable clinical potential continuous necessity in‐depth exploration within scientific domain.

Cancer remains a significant global challenge, and despite the numerous strategies developed to advance cancer therapy, an effective cure for metastatic elusive. A major hurdle in treatment success is ability of cells, particularly stem cells (CSCs), resist therapy. These CSCs possess unique abilities, including self-renewal, differentiation, repair, which drive tumor progression chemotherapy resistance. The resilience linked certain signaling pathways. Tumors with pathway-dependent often develop genetic resistance, whereas those pathway-independent undergo epigenetic changes that affect gene regulation. can evade cytotoxic drugs, radiation, apoptosis by increasing drug efflux transporter activity activating survival mechanisms. Future research should prioritize identification new biomarkers molecules better understand use cutting-edge approaches, such as bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, nanotechnology, offers potential solutions this challenge. Key include developing targeted therapies, employing nanocarriers precise delivery, focusing on CSC-targeted pathways Wnt, Notch, Hedgehog Additionally, investigating multitarget inhibitors, immunotherapy, nanodrug delivery systems critical overcoming resistance cells.

Abstract PANoptosis is a specific type of inflammatory programmed cell death (PCD) modality that can be involved in three key modes cellular death-pyroptosis, apoptosis and necroptosis. We analyzed activity common renal carcinoma subtypes (Clear carcinoma, Papillary Chromophobe carcinoma) separately constructed new immunity index (PANII). In carcinomas, we found PANII was an effective predictor immunotherapy efficacy KIRC, KIRP KICH, the high group characterized by immune infiltration sensitivity to immunotherapy, while low prone escape resistance. performed molecular docking prediction each core protein comprising identified natural small molecule compounds with highest affinity target proteins. addition, down-regulation PYCARD inhibited proliferation migration clear cells vitro functional assays, suggesting could novel for therapy. Our findings characterization-based (PANII) helps elucidate tumor microenvironmental features identify patient populations will benefit from providing tool clinical diagnosis treatment patients intermediate- advanced-stage carcinoma.
