Bisphenol A (BPA) is a well-known endocrine disruptor and it widely used mainly in the plastics industry. Due to recent reports on its possible impact health (particularly male reproductive system), bisphenol F (BPF) S (BPS) are now being as alternatives. Microplastics are emerging as a central concern for the environment. They can be found worldwide, produced industry and because of plastic debris degradation. The microplastics smaller than 5 mm, but they also range in micro nanometer scales, present soil aquatic ecosystems. Furthermore, have different chemical compositions, including additives with putative toxicity. Chironomus riparius is dipteran larvae used toxicology tests. As benthic organism, it exposed to water sediments, being able ingest some them depending on size shape. However, still poor knowledge effects that invertebrates, especially at molecular level.
