Ocular surface disorders such as Lid Wiper Epitheliopathy (LWE), Superior Epithelial Arcuate Lesion (SEAL), and contact lens-induced Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency (LSCD) well Limbic Keratoconjunctivitis (SLK) affect one's quality of life. Hence, it is imperative to investigate the underlying causes these ocular disorders. During blink, undersurface eyelid tends interact with cornea conjunctiva. The presence a lens can add biomechanical frictional changes on surfaces. To estimate without lens, finite element model (FEM) wiper, eyeball, was developed using COMSOL Multiphysics. Biomechanical properties von Mises stress (VMS) displacement were calculated. Our study concluded that (a) maximum VMS observed in lid wiper absence eye (b) superior 1.3 mm eye. Thus, development friction-induced LWE, SLK, SEAL, LSCD could be attributed increased VMS. FEA useful simulation tool helps us understand effect blink normal CL.

Monitoring individuals' laboratory data is essential for assessing their health status, evaluating the effectiveness of treatments, predicting disease prognosis and detecting subclinical conditions. Currently, monitoring performed intermittently, measuring serum, plasma, whole blood, urine occasionally other body fluids at predefined time intervals. The ideal approach entails continuous measurement concentration activity biomolecules in all fluids, including solid tissues. This can be achieved through use biosensors strategically placed various locations on human where measurements are required monitoring. High-tech wearable provide an ideal, noninvasive, esthetically pleasing solution data. To determine the performance of TOTAL30 for Astigmatism (T30fA; Alcon; Fort Worth, TX, USA) contact lenses (CLs) in existing CL wearers who are also frequent digital device users. This 1-month, 3-visit study recruited adult, 18- to 40-year-old subjects were required use daily devices at least 8 hours per day. All refit into T30fA CLs. A text message visual analog scale (VAS) (±50 scale; positive being comfortable) evaluate at-home eye comfort across day 1 day, week, and month. Subjects evaluated month with Computer Vision Syndrome Questionnaire (CVS-Q), Impact Dry Eye on Everyday Life (IDEEL) Quality questionnaire, a custom questionnaire. total 48 analyzed (mean age = 28.8 ± 6.3 years; 75% female). At month, IDEEL activities, feelings, work domains scores 96.7 6.6, 96.4 6.2, 94.8 8.6, respectively. CVS-Q 3.48 3.73. Most indicated that they satisfied overall CLs (81.3%) their level strain (87.3%). When evaluating VAS, did not differ each time point (all p-value ≥ 0.16), yet decrease minimally wear < 0.001).
