Abstract There is a substantial amount of literature that suggests animals, and specifically animals kept as pets, can have positive effect on wellbeing. Introduction: Engagement in occupations is an essential aspect of daily life among older people. Changes age are often associated with changes the pattern engagement occupations. This puts at high risk chronic illness that will limit their activities daily living.
