Abstract
Stem
cell–based
cell
therapeutics
and
especially
those
based
on
human
mesenchymal
stem
cells
(hMSCs)
induced
pluripotent
(hiPSCs)
are
said
to
have
enormous
developmental
potential
in
the
coming
years.
Their
applications
range
from
treatment
of
orthopedic
disorders
cardiovascular
diseases
autoimmune
even
cancer.
However,
while
more
than
27
hMSC-derived
currently
commercially
available,
hiPSC-based
yet
complete
regulatory
approval
process.
Based
a
review
current
available
therapeutic
products
upcoming
hiPSC-derived
phase
2
3,
this
paper
compares
therapy
manufacturing
process
between
these
two
types.

similarities
