Abstract Stem cell–based cell therapeutics and especially those based on human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) induced pluripotent (hiPSCs) are said to have enormous developmental potential in the coming years. Their applications range from treatment of orthopedic disorders cardiovascular diseases autoimmune even cancer.
