Abstract In the present study, a synbiotic coating of flaxseed mucilage, defatted rice bran carbohydrate, and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Lactis BB12 was fabricated for dried mango slices (M‐P‐C). The control samples contained only probiotic bacteria without (M‐P). Several quality parameters (moisture, weight loss, shrinkage percentage, pH, firmness, color) were assessed on specific storage circumstances (25°C, relative humidity (RH) = 22%.). addition, survival evaluated under simulated gastrointestinal (GI) conditions. According to results, log number reached 8.1 6.2 coated uncoated samples, respectively, during 45 days at 25°C (>6 CFU (log colony‐forming units)/g) finished stage in vitro circumstances, bacterial count 6.8 4 respectively. resulted significantly less moisture than ones ( p < .05). growth yeasts molds undetectable both samples. results acceptance experiments M‐P M‐P‐C showedthat there no significant differences between >.05), indeed case purchase intention overall acceptability. After reading text highlighting, difference all attributes pre post highlighting. It could be concluded that improved characteristics as well viability time

Pathogens found in food are believed to be the leading cause of foodborne illnesses; and they considered a serious problem with global ramifications. During last few decades, lot attention has been paid determining microorganisms that illnesses developing new methods identify them. Foodborne pathogen identification technologies have evolved rapidly over newer focusing on immunoassays, genome-wide approaches, biosensors, mass spectrometry as primary identification. Bacteriophages (phages), probiotics prebiotics were known ability combat bacterial diseases since turn 20th century. A focus phage use was development medical therapies; however, its quickly expanded other applications biotechnology industry. similar argument can made regards safety industry, directly endanger health customers. Recently, bacteriophages, most likely due exhaustion traditional antibiotics. Reviewing variety current quick techniques is purpose this study. Using these techniques, we able pathogenic bacteria, which forms basis for future research advances. review recent studies phages, means combating significant also presented. Furthermore, discussed advantages using phages well challenges face, especially given their prevalent application safety.

Population aging has become a primary global public health issue, and the prevention of age-associated diseases prolonging healthy life expectancies are particular importance. Gut microbiota emerged as novel target in various host physiological disorders including aging. Comprehensive understanding on changes gut during aging, characteristics centenarians, can provide us possibility to achieving or intervene pathological through microbiota-directed strategies. This review aims summarize associated with explore potential biomarkers address microbiota-associated mechanisms focusing intestinal barrier immune status. By summarizing existing effective dietary strategies interventions, probability developing diet targeting future is provided. focused three key notions: Firstly, new for regulating status lifespan, its closely related age. Thus, we summarized aging-associated features at levels genus/species important metabolites comparing differences among elderly people younger people. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global public health issue characterized by progressive loss of function, which end-stage (ESKD) the last stage. The increase in prevalence CKD linked to increasing traditional risk factors, including obesity, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus, as well metabolic particularly insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, hyperuricemia. Mortality comorbidities, such cardiovascular complications, rise steadily function deteriorates. Patients who progress ESKD require long-term replacement therapy, transplantation or hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis. It currently understood that crucial aspect involves persistent, low-grade inflammation. In addition, increased oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction, vascular calcification from poor calcium phosphate metabolism, difficulties with coagulation are some complex molecular pathways underlying CKD-related ESKD-related issues. Novel mechanisms, microbiome dysbiosis apolipoprotein L1 gene mutation, have improved our understanding mechanisms. High Africa has been APOL1 high-risk alleles. 3-fold African Americans compared European mainly attributed variants chromosome 22q12 locus. Additionally, role new therapies SGLT2 inhibitors, mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists, channel inhibitors offers therapeutic targets slowing down progression chronic disease. This review describes recent mechanisms emerging targets.

Previously, Lactobacillus paracasei VL8, a lactobacillus strain isolated from the traditional Finnish fermented dairy product Viili, demonstrated immunomodulatory and antibacterial effects. The prebiotic mannan-oligosaccharide (MOS) further promoted its activity growth performance, holding promise for maintaining intestinal health. However, this has not been verified in vivo. In study, we elucidated process by which L. VL8 synbiotc combination (SYN) with MOS repair barrier function dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced colitis mice.
