The environmental pollution that occurs in direct response to the widespread use of man-made/conventional pesticides results from many chemicals require a long period time, often decades, degrade. synthetic nature also harms animals, beneficial insects, microorganisms, and plants, as well humans. Fortunately, however, there are natural pesticides, so-called biopesticides, effective against pests more importantly, do not interfere with well-being ecosystems. Consequently, most biopesticides safer for around people pets than man-made because, example, they can be easily washed away fruits vegetables. habitat is rich resource wide selection which used treat diseases humans, plants. Out concern public health, safety, stringent regulation pesticide residues agricultural commodities, becoming increasingly important, but questions regarding potential pest resistance these products may arise, just case conventional pesticides. Therefore, performance role management plant should prioritized due their sustainability importance human welfare. In this review, we propose highlight scenario discuss detail main constraints posed by compared starting issues definition continuing on related toxicity impact environment health.

The escalating global food demand driven by a gradually expanding human population necessitates strategies to improve agricultural productivity favorably and mitigate crop yield loss caused various stressors (biotic abiotic). Biotic stresses are phytopathogens, pests, nematodes, along with abiotic like salt, heat, drought, heavy metals, which pose serious risks security productivity. Presently, the traditional methods relying on synthetic chemicals have led ecological damage through unintended impacts non-target organisms emergence of microbes that resistant them. Therefore, addressing these challenges is essential for economic, environmental, public health concerns. present review supports sustainable alternatives, emphasizing possible application fungal endophytes as innovative eco-friendly tools in plant stress management. Fungal demonstrate capabilities managing plants against biotic via direct or indirect enhancement plants’ innate immunity. Moreover, they contribute elevated photosynthesis rates, stimulate growth, facilitate nutrient mineralization, produce bioactive compounds, hormones, enzymes, ultimately improving overall resistance. In conclusion, harnessing potentiality represents promising approach toward sustainability practices, offering effective alternative solutions reduce reliance chemical treatments address posed stresses. This ensures long-term promotes environmental economic viability agriculture.

Abstract The use of pesticides and the subsequent accumulation residues in soil has become a worldwide problem. Organochlorine (OC) have spread widely environment caused contamination from past agricultural activities. This article reviews bioremediation pesticide compounds using microbial enzymes, including enzymatic degradation pathway recent development enzyme-mediated bioremediation. Enzyme-mediated is divided into phase I II, where former increases solubility through oxidation–reduction hydrolysis reactions, while latter transforms toxic pollutants less or nontoxic products conjugation reactions. identified enzymes that can degrade OC insecticides include dehalogenases, phenol hydroxylase, laccases. Recent developments to improve immobilization, encapsulation, protein engineering, which ensure its stability, recyclability, handling storage, better control reaction.

Over the past decade, CdS QDs have become versatile semiconductors. Surface modification of has an interesting case study, as it can eliminate surface defects and improve their photochemical properties. In this we report a new strategy using carbon quantum dots containing large number thiol groups (CQDs-SH) passivating agent for stabilization (QDs). Various characterization techniques clearly revealed that been successfully passivated by CQDs-SH. The photocatalytic performance CQDs-SH/CdS was investigated degradation insecticide imidacloprid from aqueous solution. Parameters affecting photodegradation process, including light source, photocatalyst amount, initial concentration pollutant, radiation time, pH, oxidizing agent, temperature, were investigated. Furthermore, HPLC technique applied to quantitatively analyze its products. results analysis under simulated visible at pH 9, scarcely existed after 90 min irradiation (90.13% degradation). LC-MS method also used detect products investigate mechanism pesticide. showed composite promising in wastewater.

Pesticides are widely used in agriculture, but their impact on the environment and human health is a major concern. While much attention has been given to presence soil, water, food, there have few studies airborne pesticide pollution global scale. This study aimed assess extent of atmospheric countries worldwide identify regional differences using scoring approach. In addition analyzing risks associated with pollution, we also examined agricultural practices current air quality standards for pesticides these countries. The scores varied significantly among countries, particularly Europe. Asian Oceanic generally had higher compared those Americas, suggesting relatively level caused by regions. It worth noting that levels, as assessed theoretically, pose minimal humans. However, literature shown excessive exposure present atmosphere various problems, such cancer, neuropsychiatric disorders, other chronic diseases. Interestingly, European highest overall application intensities, this did not necessarily correspond scores. Only established specifically pesticides. Furthermore, across states USA were investigated sampling sites mapped. findings revealed limited or unevenly distributed some Nordic These can help relevant environmental agencies set up comprehensive monitoring networks. Overall, research highlights need create system increase efforts enhance regulation, ensure consistency standards, promote international cooperation.
