Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is an aggressive disease with poor prognosis. This due to the fact that most cases are only diagnosed at advanced and palliative stage, there a high incidence of therapy resistance. Despite ongoing efforts, date, mechanisms underlying PDAC oncogenesis its responses treatment still largely unclear. As study microbiome in cancer progresses, growing evidence suggests bacteria or fungi might be key players both as well resistance chemo- immunotherapy, for instance through modulation tumor microenvironment reshaping host immune response. Here, we review how microbiota exerts these effects directly indirectly via microbial-derived metabolites. Finally, further discuss potential modulating composition PDAC.

BackgroundLactic acid bacteria (LAB) are utilized as a starter culture in the manufacturing of fermented dairy items, preservative for various food products, and probiotic. In our country, some research has been carried out, even if LAB plays principal role preservation improves texture taste foods, that is why we tried to evaluate their probiotic effect. The objective this was determine antibacterial activity Lactococcus lactis (L. lactis) against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) ATCC 29213, investigate antioxidant activity, characterize sensitivity 18 antibiotics.MethodsA total 23 subsp. cremoris, L. Lactis diacetylactis, were isolated from cow's raw milk. performed using two techniques, competition nutrients technique utilizing components nature, disk diffusion method. studied different antibiotics tested on Man rogosa sharp (MRS) agar commercial antibiotic disks. All strains examined activity. by 2,2-diphenyl-1 picrylhydrazyl (DPPH).ResultsThe results showed MRS medium more adapted than Muller Hinton Agar (MHA) S. 29213. Also, exhibited notable degree displayed higher activities, followed ssp. biovar. lastly, cremoris Lc 26 among all high potential reaching 40±3 mm slightly moderate (10.56±1.28%-26.29±0.05%). resistance test indicate resistant cefotaxime, sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim, streptomycin sensitive Ampicillin, Amoxicillin, Penicillin G, Teicoplanin, Vancomycin, Gentamicin 500, Tetracycline, Chloramphenicol. These strain falls within criteria not posing any harmful effects human health. important properties recorded derived production active metabolites, such protein, diacetyl, hydrogen peroxide, lactic acid, together with fight nutrients.ConclusionThis study suggests could be added an agent 29213 can provide nutritional property potential.

Probiotics, the health-promoting members of gut microbiota, have been shown to enhance mucosal and systemic immunity, stimulate cytokines, chemokines, antibodies, regulate T-cell activity. On other hand, traditional adjuvants like alum limitations, researchers are exploring probiotics as a new generation vaccine treat immune disorders effectiveness. For instance, studies show that probiotic strains Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) can improve response vaccines against rotavirus, SARS-CoV-2, influenza. Besides, delivered through various routes (oral ocular) could offer broader protection wider range infections. not only boost system but also trigger production anti-inflammatory cytokines regulatory cells, they potential in cancer immunotherapy. Studies demonstrate LGG Bifidobacterium longum increase efficacy by promoting T cell infiltration, thereby inhibiting tumor growth. Additionally, suggest specific L. SL42 casei might be beneficial for cow's milk allergies. In line with this, research on use peanut allergies shows promise. However, there is need more understand mechanisms, identify optimal strains, determine timing duration administration clinical outcomes. This review aimed shed light impact immunomodulatory immunogenic agents immunizations, well their infectious diseases, allergies, suppression.

Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is a disorder characterized by the excessive growth of bacteria in small intestine. Bacterial disrupts balance and can lead to abdominal pain, weight loss, gastrointestinal symptoms, including bloating, diarrhea, malabsorption. SIBO widespread population. There are two main methods for diagnosing SIBO: breath tests culture. The most commonly used method test, which enables division into following three types: hydrogen-dominant (H-SIBO), methane-dominant (CH4-SIBO), hydrogen/methane-dominant (H/CH4-SIBO). This comprehensive review aims present current knowledge on use prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics context SIBO. For this purpose, medical databases such as MEDLINE (PubMed) Scopus were analyzed using specific keywords their combinations. based research studies no older than 10 years old those only human models. In summary, clinical have shown that efficacy therapy be increased combining antibiotics with especially vulnerable patients children pregnant women. further development diagnostic methods, point care testing (POCT) portable devices, better understanding mechanisms biotics action needed treat more effectively improve quality life patients.

Natural food-derived bioactive compounds have garnered increasing attention for their potential to modulate immune responses and promote gut health. In particular, like mulberry-derived postbiotics (MDP) may offer novel therapeutic strategies address inflammation, a key driver of many metabolic disorders. This study examines the protective effects MDP against inflammation in LPS-induced mice, using transcriptomic microbiome analyses explore underlying mechanisms. pretreatment alleviates LPSinduced villous atrophy intestinal barrier damage, promoting recovery morphology. Transcriptomic profiling revealed significant changes gene expression, with 983 upregulated 1220 downregulated genes NC vs LPS comparison, 380 204 LPS+MDP comparison. Enrichment analysis GO KEGG pathways associations transcriptional regulatory activity, NOD-like receptor signaling pathway among differentially expressed genes. Protein-protein interaction identified involved regulation, hub IL6, CXCL10, MYD88 group CD74, CIITA, H2-AB1 MDP-treated group. Microbiome suggested also influence microbiota composition, supporting systemic regulation. These findings highlight MDP's as food additive modulation

Background/Objectives: Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) produce several diverse metabolites during fermentation that play key roles in enhancing health and food quality. These include peptides, organic acids, exopolysaccharides, antimicrobial compounds, which contribute to gut health, immune system modulation, pathogen inhibition. This study analyzed the intracellular (Met-Int) extracellular (Met-Ext-CFS; cell-free supernatant) of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum UTNGt2, a probiotic strain isolated from Theobroma grandiflorum. Methods: The assessment was performed using capillary LC-MS/MS metabolomics with SWATH-based data-independent acquisition approach identify molecules associated activity. Results: integration metabolomic data whole-genome annotation enabled identification metabolites, including amino nucleotides, oligopeptides, terpenes, flavonoids, many were activity UTNGt2. Pathway analysis reveals critical processes such as secondary metabolite biosynthesis, nucleotide galactose metabolism, cofactor biosynthesis. By integrating RiPP (ribosomally synthesized post-translationally modified peptide) cluster gene predictions LC-MS data, this validates production specific RiPPs uncovers novel bioactive compounds encoded within UTNGt2 genome. oligopeptide val-leu-pro-val-pro-gln found both Met-Int (ESI+) Met-Ext-CFS may strain’s strength. It could also enhance fermentation-related functions. Conclusions: While genome-based highlight biosynthetic potential, actual profile is influenced by factors like transcriptional regulation, post-transcriptional post-translational modifications, environmental conditions. findings emphasize value multi-omics approaches providing holistic understanding its role
