The support of sustainable learning foreign languages requires teacher engagement and a high level self-efficacy, both which are cornerstones for the persistence teachers in carrying out teaching activities to help learning. need such attributes is even more crucial when online platforms as mode delivery becoming increasingly popular. We would argue that keeping students engaged motivated attain their academic success calls increased levels resilience efforts teachers. Although self-efficacy has been widely considered professional practices teachers, there paucity research studies on who teach Chinese language (CFL) using platforms. Such gap becomes prominent after sudden outbreak COVID-19 pandemic, especially places where now numerous CFL classes. In order fill this gap, study was conducted with frontline participant aimed detect thoroughly trajectories completely new context. Embedded Project Sino-Greece Online Language Classrooms, employed narrative inquiry case methodological approaches. Thematic analysis used analyze data consisted written narratives (the teacher's journals reflections, field notes assistant, emails students) spoken narratives. Three questions guided study: What beliefs about (1) opportunity online? (2) management project? (3) her personal capability foster students' These three focused, respectively, components system (personal efficacy, efficacy within organization, efficacy). A Mixed-Methods Study on Senior High School EFL Teacher Resilience in China DOI Creative Commons

While teacher resilience has gained significant attention in recent years, empirical exploration of this issue is still insufficient, particularly with regard to English as a foreign language (EFL) China. In context, study employed mixed-methods design investigate Chinese EFL resilience. Specifically, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC)-EFL Teacher Survey was distributed 330 senior high school teachers. Five volunteers survey sample participated semi-structured interviews. The results revealed that teachers at moderate level, and there no difference relation gender years teaching experience, but small teachers’ educational background. The purpose of this study is to examine preservice Chinese language teachers' cognition in teaching intercultural communicative competence. This paper reports a mixed-methods study that explored the strategy use of cohort Chinese as second language learners in mainland China from perspective mediation theory. Data sources include questionnaire survey ( N = 189) and semi-structured interview 12). Interactionist and social-cultural perspectives on second language acquisition suggest that interactions between teachers students offer promising avenues for acquiring Chinese as a language, which the vast majority of international consider difficult. Computer-mediated communication is far safer than face-to-face encounters during present pandemic. Three aims are being investigated here.
