Background: Drunkorexia is a food and alcohol disturbance described as being range of disordered compensatory eating behaviors that co-occur with excessive consumption. Method: We conducted cross-sectional across all governorates (September-December 2020; N = 258). Motives Behaviors Scales, Fails Scale, during Alcohol Consumption Event Post-Drinking Compensation Scale were used drunkorexia, whereas Young Schema Questionnaire-Short Form three measure EMSs. Eating disorders are quite common around the world, disabling, and potentially lethal; but they remain so far under-captured subject to substantial delays in treatment. We propose through this study develop validate a shortened version of Attitude Test (EAT) Arabic language among non-clinical Arabic-speaking Lebanese participants from general population.1175 enrolled cross-sectional study, based on an online survey. The Test-26 items, Drunkorexia Motives Behaviors Scales Anxiety Scale were used answer our objectives.Our results confirmed validity reliability questionnaire. Exploratory Factor Analyses showed that all items converged over one-factor solution, with excellent Cronbach's alpha (> 0.9). Confirmatory found 7-item-version yielded model fit. instrument also revealed strong evidence divergent validity, being highly correlated measures anxiety drunkorexia motives behaviors.Findings provided supporting seven-item structure scale (EAT-7) is valid, reliable, can be clinical practice, preventive interventions future eating research Arab settings.Eating shorter form 26 EAT-7, valid reliable settings.

Abstract Objectives The objective of our study was to evaluate the association between transition menopause, body dissatisfaction, and abnormal eating habits (restrained eating, binge orthorexia nervosa) in a sample middle-aged Lebanese women. Methods A cross-sectional conducted July 2019 January 2020 enrolled 1001 women aged 40 years above from all governorates. Data were collected by face-to-face interviews with participants. Body dissatisfaction subscale Eating Disorder Inventory‑second version used assess whereas Binge Scale, Dutch Restrained ORTO-15, Dusseldorf Orthorexia Scale (DOS), Teruel (TOS) disorders (binge restrained nervosa respectively. Multivariable analysis covariance (MANCOVA) compare multiple measures among three menopausal phases, after adjustment over potential confounding variables (age, monthly income, mass index, marital status, education level, dissatisfaction). Results Postmenopause significantly associated more tendencies (lower ORTO-15 scores) than premenopause (β = − 1.87; p 0.022). Perimenopause 1.56; 0.031), less (as measured DOS) premenopause, this tending significance 1.10; 0.051). Furthermore, higher 0.02; < 0.001), 0.48; as ( β 0.17; 0.001) TOS 0.08; 0.002), but not DOS. Conclusion Our showed that stages are some disordered behaviors Those results may serve first step towards spreading awareness within age group regarding attitudes. Moreover, healthcare professionals should screen for presence during those women’s routine visits clinics.

The COVID-19 outbreak negatively affected young adults' psychological well-being, increasing their stress levels and symptoms of anxiety depression, potentially triggering health-risk behaviors. present study was aimed at investigating the impact pandemic on alcohol abuse drunkorexia behaviors among adults living in Italy. Participants were 370 emerging (63% women, 37% men; Mage = 21.00, SDage 2.96, range: 18-30) who recruited through an online survey between November 2021 March 2022. completed measures abuse, behaviors, negative life experiences, post-traumatic related to outbreak. results showed that emotional experiences associated with predicted both albeit different ways. The present study investigates the mediating effect of difficulties in emotion regulation association between childhood emotional abuse and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) among Lebanese adults.This cross-sectional study, involving 411 participants, was conducted March August 2022. individuals from all governorates country were recruited using Snowball Sampling technique. Three self-report scales utilized to complete this research; 'Difficulties Emotion Regulation Scale-Brief Version (DERS-16)' which evaluates individuals, 'Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-Short Form (CTQ-SF)' grants a subjective evaluation general environment as well 'Borderline Questionnaire (BPQ)' measures traits, that demonstrate significant convergence with disorder.The results indicate DERS-16 played an indirect role scores Disorder. (1) Background: The integrated approach to the prevention and treatment of eating disorders (EDs) requires knowledge can be used only when specific risk factors are known. aim this study was examine differences in food choices behavior between males females; (2) Methods: This comprised 148 females 27 aged from 18 26-years-old (MEAN ± SD = 21.4 1.86 years old). Information about EDs obtained four different measures: body mass index (BMI), disorder screen for primary care (ESP), a standardized validated questionnaire called “My Eating Habits” frequency with 10 answers (FFQ-10); (3) Results: developing detected nearly 67% respondents. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and eating disorders (ED) share common causal factors often represent similar entities. Studies on obsessive-compulsive reveal a significant correlation between maladaptive perfectionism. The objective of this study is to evaluate the predictive variables perfectionism in patients diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia (BN) OCD using structural equation model (SEM). sample consisted 187 participants (60.9% women, 39.1% men) mean age 26.68 (SD = 10.97). findings that same all evaluated, achieving an adequate fit: χ2 7.95 ( p 0.000), RMSEA 0.087 (95% confidence interval: 0.00 0.02), CFI 0.991, TLI 0.951 overall capacity around 30% (CD 0.318). It recommended future studies address subtypes evaluated longitudinal designs.
