The COVID-19 pandemic profoundly transformed Higher Education in Latin America, revealing both its structural vulnerabilities and capacity to adapt. Abstract The use of commercial digital platforms in public schools like Google and Microsoft, which was exacerbated during the pandemic, requires analysis to encourage a safer more appropriate educational use. research objective behind this article analyse concerns school students obligatory primary secondary education within Autonomous Region Catalonia (Spain) together with opinions their families regarding offered by large technology companies (BigTech) schools. This is mixed design study, consisting eight discussion groups pupils ( n = 56) questionnaire issued 2,330 family members. results show that both are concerned about lack knowledge surrounding data they generate when using these platforms, effect on democratic governance reproduction gender stereotypes. In the intensely developing information society, education of pre-service teachers presents an organisational, methodological, and conceptual challenge. Recent years have necessitated reflection on content modalities formation digital competence in teachers. This article - considers which components competences new generations should contain how this area can be effectively developed within academic education. The is result interviews conducted with 35 experts (recognized scholars field media pedagogy) from North South America, Africa, Australia Oceania, Asia, Europe. Qualitative using Delphi methodology were between June September 2022. Using grounded theory principles, it was noted that there a need to modify teachers' curricula following areas: creating, retrieving managing content; integrating ICT into subject soft skills; enhancing interactivity classroom; social aspects ICT; distance learning; socio-technical processes; advanced competencies; predictive analysing impact human life; data protection; e-risks; low understanding messaging; supporting people disabilities.

Since the advent of internet, researchers have been interested in intersubjective possibilities and constraints that digital environments offer users. Some argue seemingly disembodied digitally-mediated interactions are severely limited when compared to their embodied face-to-face counterparts; others more optimistic about such technologies afford. Yet, both camps tend towards offering static accounts online intersubjectivity. What we think these approaches fail take into account is how users' capabilities on platforms can evolve change over time.
