Abstract
The
use
of
commercial
digital
platforms
in
public
schools
like
Google
and
Microsoft,
which
was
exacerbated
during
the
pandemic,
requires
analysis
to
encourage
a
safer
more
appropriate
educational
use.
research
objective
behind
this
article
analyse
concerns
school
students
obligatory
primary
secondary
education
within
Autonomous
Region
Catalonia
(Spain)
together
with
opinions
their
families
regarding
offered
by
large
technology
companies
(BigTech)
schools.
This
is
mixed
design
study,
consisting
eight
discussion
groups
pupils
(
n
=
56)
questionnaire
issued
2,330
family
members.
results
show
that
both
are
concerned
about
lack
knowledge
surrounding
data
they
generate
when
using
these
platforms,
effect
on
democratic
governance
reproduction
gender
stereotypes.
In
conclusion,
study
suggests
it
necessary
create
greater
critical
awareness
among
children,
adolescents
at
all
socio-economic
levels,
particularly
those
who
most
vulnerable.

education

pre-service
teachers

organisational,
