Amid Ukraine's geopolitical turmoil, a ripple effect is echoing across global agricultural and food systems – phenomenon with far-reaching implications for producers, traders, consumers the globe. This systematic study delves into this intricate interaction, examining scholarly literature to determine magnitude complexities of war's impact on agri-food systems. Utilizing rigourous methodology, we screened 236 articles from Web Science database as March 2023, narrowing corpus 62 significant publications that meet comprehensive eligibility criteria. The war affected all security dimensions, but most dramatic was access. Indeed, decrease in domestic production productivity; damage assets, production, stocks; increase input prices; changes land use degradation; labour shortage rural areas reduced supply availability, especially cereals. availability led increased prices inflation, which, combined disruption trade, markets, chains, access, poor vulnerable people groups. Effects utilization are mainly seen diet quality dietary diversity. also stability dimension, owing volatility uncertainty future supply. Similarly, has dimensions system sustainability (viz. environmental, social, economic, political). However, some phenomena have particularly socio-economic such insecurity malnutrition, poverty vulnerability, migration displacement. Therefore, it imperative evidence-based strategies policies not only efficient effective sustainable. Consequently, conducting extensive research conflict's medium- long-term consequences crucial, context developing countries, which hitherto been largely overlooked prior research.

The global food supply chain is a complex network of interconnected processes and actors that play critical role in ensuring security stability. However, this intricate system susceptible to various risks challenges, including natural disasters, geopolitical tensions, market fluctuations, regulatory changes. These often result price volatility, which can have profound implications for both consumers producers worldwide. In context, accounting emerges as vital tool mitigating managing volatility within the chain. Accounting serves cornerstone providing accurate, timely, reliable financial information essential decision-making at every stage Through effective reporting analysis, enables stakeholders identify, assess, respond potential proactively. By employing risk management techniques such scenario planning, sensitivity hedging strategies, professionals help organizations anticipate mitigate disruptions, thereby reducing impact volatility. Furthermore, facilitates transparency accountability chain, enhancing trust cooperation among stakeholders. comprehensive cost performance measurement systems, identify inefficiencies, optimize resource allocation, enhance operational resilience. Moreover, frameworks sustainability enable businesses assess report environmental social impacts their operations, fostering sustainable practices across addition its optimization, contributes compliance governance industry. adhering standards regulations, ensure integrity accuracy reporting, investor confidence legal reputational risks. crucial designing implementing internal control systems prevent fraud, errors, misconduct, safeguarding plays multifaceted insights, promoting transparency, compliance, empowers navigate challenges promote stability system.

Abstract Food security remains a pressing concern in the face of an increasing world population and environmental challenges. As climate change, biodiversity loss, water scarcity continue to impact agricultural productivity, traditional livestock farming faces limitations meeting growing global demand for meat dairy products. In this context, black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) have emerged as promising alternative sustainable food production. BSFL possess several advantages over conventional livestock, including their rapid growth, adaptability various organic waste substrates, low impact. Their bioconversion rate, ability transform into valuable products, final product optimization are key factors that enhance potential nutrient-rich protein source, fertilizer, biofuel. This review explores strategies rate improve end products derived from BSF treatment. It highlights benefits using other interventions underscores significance optimizing meet challenges sustainably. Despite prospects BSF-derived consumer acceptance regulatory hurdles remain critical aspects address realizing full market potential. The utilization source feed can contribute management, reduce pollution, issue environmentally responsible manner. However, there is need further research innovation ensure safety, quality, economic viability BSF-based both animal human consumption.
