Association between exposure to perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and endometriosis in the ENDEA case-control study

Perfluoroalkyl
substances
(PFAS)
are
environmental
contaminants
present
in
a
wide
range
of
consumer
products
and
frequently
detected
drinking
water.
They
have
been
linked
to
adverse
reproductive
health
outcomes
women,
but
there
is
limited
human
evidence
on
the
association
PFAS
exposure
with
endometriosis.
To
explore
between
plasma
concentrations

PFAS,

pathway

environmental
pollutants,
regulating
transcription

biotransformation.
There
are
significant
differences
selectivity
and
specificity

pollutants
(OPs)
toward
polar
bear
PXR
(pbPXR)
human
(hPXR),
but
detailed
dynamical
characteristics
their
interactions
unclear.
Homology
Modeling,
molecular
docking,
dynamics
simulation,
free
energy
calculation
were
used
to
analyze
recognition
pbPXR
hPXR
by
three
OPs:
BPA,
chlordane
toxaphene.
Comparing
interaction
patterns
along
with
binding
these
OPs
revealed
although
interact
similar
OPs,
have
different
effects
on
internal
hPXR.
This
results

influencing

Abstract
Background
Glucose
metabolism
in
breast
cancer
has

effect
on
tumor
progression
and
is
related
to
the
immune
microenvironment.
Thus,

study
