Resveratrol

wine,

peanuts
and
others.
The
biological
properties
of
resveratrol,
particular
antioxidant,
anti-inflammatory,
anticancer,
estrogenic,
vasorelaxant
cardioprotective
activity,
are
the
main
reason
for
its
importance
medicine
pharmacy.
Despite

advantages,
however,
there
many
problems
related
to
this

substance,

as
low
stability,

insolubility,

Abstract
Background
Bacterial
infection
in
wounds
has
become
a
major
threat
to
human
life
and
health.
With
the
growth
use
of
synthetic
antibiotics
elevated
evolution
drug
resistant
bacteria
body
cells
requires
development
novel
wound
curing
strategies.
Herein,
pH-responsive
hydrogel
(RPC/PB)
was
fabricated
using
poly(vinyl
alcohol)-borax
(PB)
natural
antibiotic
resveratrol
grafted
cellulose
nanofibrils
(RPC)
for
bacterial-infected
management.
Results
In
this
matrix,
RPC
conjugate
interpenetrated
PB
network
form
semi-interpenetrating
that
exhibited
robust
mechanical
properties
(fracture
strength
149.6
kPa),
high
self-healing
efficiency
(>
90%),
excellent
adhesion
performance
(tissue
shear
stress
54.2
kPa).
Interestingly,
induced
RPC/PB
showed
release
behavior,
cumulative
amount
pH
5.4
2.33
times
than
7.4,
which
adapted
well
acidic
microenvironment.
