After
fifteen
years
of
genome-wide
association
studies
(GWAS)
in
Parkinson's
disease
(PD),
what
have
we
learned?
Addressing
this
question
will
help
catalogue

progress
made
towards
elucidating

envisioning
how
can

to
develop

GWAS

Due

rapid
urbanization
worldwide,
monitoring

nitrogen
dioxide
(NO2),

cardiovascular

sensors

NO2

challenging

sensitivity,

report
a
hybrid
structure
Cu3HHTP2,
2D
semiconducting
metal-organic
frameworks
(MOFs),
laser-induced
graphene
(LIG)
for
high-performance
sensing.
The
unique
hierarchical
pore
architecture
LIG@Cu3HHTP2
promotes
mass
transport
gas
molecules
takes
full
advantage
large
surface
area
porosity
MOFs,
enabling
highly
sensitive
responses
NO2.
Consequently,

fastest
lowest
limit
detection
at
room
temperature
compared
with
state-of-the-art
sensors.

Abstract
Sporadic
Parkinson’s
disease
(PD)
is
a
progressive
neurodegenerative
disease,
with
complex
risk
structure
thought
to
be
influenced
by
interactions
between
genetic
variants
and
environmental
exposures,
although
the
full
aetiology
unknown.
Environmental
factors,
including
pesticides,
have
been
reported
increase
of
developing
disease.
Growing
evidence
suggests
epigenetic
changes
are
key
mechanisms
which
these
factors
act
upon
gene
regulation,
in
disease-relevant
cell
types.
We
present
systematic
review
critically
appraising
summarising
current
body
relationship
PD
inform
future
research
this
area.
Epigenetic
studies
relevant
animal
models
yielded
promising
results,
however,
humans
just
emerging.
While
published
currently
relatively
limited,
importance
