Abstract
Using
two
structurally
similar
polymer
acceptors
in
constructing
high‐efficiency
ternary
all‐polymer
solar
cells
is
a
widely
acknowledged
strategy;
however,
the
focus
thus
far
has
not
been
on
how
acceptor(s)
would
tune
aggregation
of
donors,
and
furthermore
film
morphology
device
performance
(efficiency
stability).
Herein,
it
reported
that
matching
celebrity
acceptor
PY‐IT
donor
PBQx‐TCl
results
enhanced
H
‐
PBQx‐TCl,
which
can
be
finely
tuned
by
controlling
amount
second
PY‐IV.
Consequently,
efficiency‐optimized
PY‐IV
weight
ratio
(0.2/1.2)
leads
to
state‐of‐the‐art
power
conversion
efficiency
18.81%,
wherein
light‐illuminated
operational
stability
also
along
with
well‐protected
thermal
stability.
Such
enhancements
stabilities
attributed
optimization
desired
glass
transition
temperature
target
active
layer
based
comprehensive
characterization.

Abstract
Currently,
nearly
all
high‐efficiency
organic
photovoltaic
devices
use
donor
polymers
based
on
the
benzo‐dithiophene
(BDT)
unit.
To
diversify
choices
of
building
blocks
for
high‐performance
polymers,
benzo‐difuran
(BDF)
units
is
explored,
which
can
achieve
reduced
steric
hindrance,
stronger
molecular
packing,
and
tunable
energy
levels.
In
previous
research,
performance
BDF‐based
lagged
behind
those
BDT‐based
devices.
this
study,
a
high
efficiency
(18.4%)
achieved
using
polymer
donor,
highest
reported
BDF
materials
to
date.

Power-conversion-efficiencies
(PCEs)

spin-coating
technology

halogenated
solvents,

marked
PCE
drop
when
the
blade-coating
and/or
green-solvents
toward
large-scale
printing

used
instead,

hampers
practical
development

-alkyl-tailored
small
molecule
acceptors

YR-SeNF

molecular

backbone
developed
combining
selenium-fused

naphthalene-fused

proposed

leaving

deficiencies

asymmetric

acceptor

Abstract
Volatile
solid
(VS)‐additives
are
regarded

effective
tool

morphology

sequential
deposited
(SD)
active
layers
for
improving
power
conversion
efficiencies
(PCEs)

effect
VS‐additives
on
donor
and
acceptor

overlooked.

a
new
VS‐additive
named
2‐(2‐methoxyphenyl)benzo[
b
]thiophene
(BTO)
synthesized
applied
in
SD
binary
PM6/L8‐BO
layers.
Introducing
it
into
bottom
PM6
layer
(PM6
+
),
BTO
has
low
volatility
longer
volatilization
distance,
which
prolongs
interaction
time
between
L8‐BO
/L8‐BO
film,
leading
over‐aggregated
L8‐BO.
While
inserting
top
(L8‐BO
fast
evaporation
excellent
dipole
help
enhance
molecular
absorption,
crystallinity,
ordered
packing
system.
Therefore,
optimized
with
proper
phase
separation
achieved
increase
exciton
dissociation
charge
transfer
properties,

Abstract
Achieving
both
high
power
conversion
efficiency
(PCE)
and
device
stability
is
a
major
challenge
for
the
practical
development

three
non‐fully
conjugated
dimerized
giant
acceptors
(named
2Y‐sites,
including
wing‐site‐linked
2Y‐wing,
core‐site‐linked
2Y‐core,
end‐site‐linked
2Y‐end)
are
developed.
They
share
similar
monomer
precursors
but
have
different
alkyl‐linked
sites,
offering
fine‐tuned
molecular
absorption,
packing,
glass
transition
temperature,
carrier
mobility.
Among
their
binary
active
layers,
D18/2Y‐wing
has
better
miscibility,
leading
to
optimized
morphology
more
efficient
charge
transfer
compared
D18/2Y‐core
D18/2Y‐end.
Therefore,
D18/2Y‐wing‐based
OSCs
achieve
superior
PCE
17.73
%,
attributed
enhanced
photocurrent
fill
factor.
Furthermore,
exhibit
balance
improved
stability,
distinguishing
them
within
2Y‐sites.
Building
on
success
2Y‐wing
in
systems,
we
extend
its
application
ternary
by
pairing
it
with
near‐infrared
absorbing
D18/BS3TSe‐4F
