Abstract Flexible devices based on 2D materials have shown promising application capacity in next‐generation optoelectronics. The lack of inversion centrosymmetry renders odd‐layered transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) to be piezoelectric, which means the properties modulation them gets rid limit gate voltage and they can directly gated by external strain. Here, a self‐powered photodetector WSe 2 lateral PN homojunction is constructed, exhibits excellent current rectification behavior with ratio 1.8 × 10 3 . Further, under uniaxial tensile strain, novel phenomenon that dominant response waveband tuned from 550 800 nm 1.04% strain observed. maximum photoresponsivity incident laser reach 216.7 mA W −1 455% improvement has been demonstrated when applied. This work provides an example multi‐band light detection manipulation single device, shows significant prospect adaptable artificial vision application.
