Currently, clinical practice and scientific research mostly revolve around a single disease or system, but the disease-oriented diagnostic therapeutic paradigm needs to be revised. This review describes how transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS), novel non-invasive neuromodulation approach, connects central peripheral systems of body. Through widely distributed from head abdominal cavity, this therapy can improve treat system disorders, central-peripheral comorbidities caused by autonomic dysfunction. In past, on taVNS has focused treatment disorders modulating brain nerve. As innervates heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, gastrointestinal tract, spleen other organs, could have an overall modulatory effect region body where is widespread.
